Gerard's P.O.V I moved off the bed, carefully. I didn't want to wake Kat. I headed for the bathroom. Once inside, I locked the door. It was hard because of the bandages the mum had put on my hands. I guess I didn't break my bones. I sat on the floor, leaning against the door. I pushed my sleeves up and looked at my cuts. Cutting used to help calm me down. But Mikey asked me to stop. So I did. I'd do anything for him. So no way was I cutting again. Last cut I did was last year. Mikey found me in the bath. He thought I was trying to kill myself. I would never do that. I wouldn't want to hurt my family. And now Kat aswell. I sighed as I pushed my sleeves back down. I got visions of Mikey and Kat getting hurt. Shit. Not again. I can't keep calling Mikey whenever I lose it. My bloods beginning to boil again. Fuck my god damn temper. How do I calm myself down? I've got it. I close my eyes and lean my head back against the door and I start to sing. I hummed the intro. I smiled as I stood up and opened the door, with great difficulty. Mikey and Kat were stood watching me. Kat with her mouth open in shock and Mikey with a rare smile. "What brought that on?" He asked. I pulled Kat into a hug. "I found a way to calm myself down." I said with pride. "What song is it?" He asked. "Summertime?" "Yep." I looked down at Kat. "Did I wake you, babe?" She smiled back up at me. "Yeah." She admitted. "But that was amazing. So I don't mind." I kissed her, briefly then turned to see Mum and Dad in the doorway. I smiled at them. "You should sing more often." Mum said as she hugged Dad. Dad smiled. "You have the voice of a rockstar." He stated. "Must get it from me." Mum laughed. "I don't think so, Don." She muttered. "You can barely sing better than a cat." "Cheers, Donna." Dad laughed. I shook my head. "I was thinking of maybe starting a band soon." I sighed. "I know three guys that play instruments at school." I looked at Mikey. "Then there's my awesome brother. If I do decide to start one, you in?" Mikey smiled. "I'd follow you anywhere, Gee." He stated. "You know that." I grinned. "Great." I sighed. "My brothers my stalker." Mikey punched my arm, playfully. "You know what I mean."
