Romanticize Eternal Damnation
Chapter 11: Sing A Hymn For The Dead!
Frank’s P.O.V.
The 5 next hours passed by slower than ANYTHING possible. I was almost killed by the boredoom. At 2 30 I decided to go get ready. I brushed my hair, searched for clothes, dressed in some jeans and my Black Flag shirt and waited unpatiently. My phone buzzed, it was Gerard.
”Hello.”
”Hey, Frankie. You ready? I’m outside.”
”I’m coming.”
I get out of the house and a wonderful black Chevy Impala *I’m a SPN fan, couldn’t help it* parked and Gerard who was smokin’ hot standing by the car, wearing black skinny jeans who made his ass look like he was from heaven *oh, the irony* and a shirt with its sleeves ripped showing off his pale shoulders. I’m half hard already.
”Like what you see?”
I’ve been staring again..fuck. Wait, I have the most intense Deja-Vu I had in my entire life. I think I zoned out for a while. Gerard gets me out of the trance with a ”shall we go?”. I nod. He opens the front door for me, waits till I’m seated, closes the door and gets in the car. Such a gentalman.
”If you want to, you can put on some music. There are some CDs there.” He points to the backseat.
One specific CD caught my attention and that’s For Blood and Empire by Anti Flag. I put it in the CD player and skip to track 5: Hymn for the Dead, my favourite Anti Flag song.
I start singing the lyrics silently, after a minute or less Gerard joins me. We end up singing passionately to the whole album.
Suddenly, Gerard slows down and I look at him confused.
”We’re almost there.”
I give him an ”oh” to let him know I recieved the message and then look at the surroundings. I know this place.. I’ve been here before. It’s like a small forest by the city. The view is absolutely amazing.
Gerard gets out of the car and before I know he opens the door for me. I blush and he smirks.
”What’s so special about this place?” I ask.
”I like to come here to clear my mind, and since you like the park I thought that you would like this too. Also the view is breathtaking.”
The forest wasn’t filled with rare trees or flowers or something like that. It was just the way the trees were placed, the way it smelled and the way light fell on the green grass. It’s... magical.
I grab the sketchbook from my bag, trying to draw the wonder that is ahead of me. Gerard seats next to me watching. After like 5 minutes I finish the sketch, deciding to finish the drawing later.
I look at Gerard who looked like he was preparing his next line.
”What are you thinking about?” I ask.
”Nothing.” He says, with a smile on his face.
