The Sane Abandoned Me

"I'm so proud of you Daisy." My Mum beamed as she did up my choker up for me. "My little girl, getting ready to go to her own book launch!" She turned me round to give me a hug before me and all my family packed into the taxi, on our way to the venue.

We all made our way up the steps to the entrance and I was immediately greeted by Orlando who was wearing an ear piece. "You're here!"

"Yeash!" I replied.

"Okay, I thought we'd have you by the door greeting people as they came in."

"Thanks again for organising this whole thing O!" I beamed.

"Thats okay Dandelion." Orlando insisted hugging me tighting, he pulled back a bit then whispered. "The boys are setting up in the back."

"Thanks." I mouthed as I made my way there.

"Daisy, thank god you're here we thought one of our singers had ditched!" Frank exclaimed setting up his guitar.

"As if I'd ditch my own party Frankie! Wheres Gerard?" I asked directing my question to Mikey.
"Him and Ray are just getting some of the equipment out of the car." Mikey explained, just as the two boys came into view.

"Hello my author girlfriend." Gee greeted holding out his arms for me to jump into.

"Don't you mean Gfizzle." I chuckled, holding him close.

"Are you excited?" He asked as we broke apart from the hug.

"Umm anxious is probably the best word, but its a good kind."

"Well off you go, you need to greet your guests!"

"Okay, I'll be back 5 minutes before the performance."

"Okay, have fun!" Gerard smiled as he planted a last kiss on my lips before I went off to find Orlando.

"Daisy, we need you by the door!" O called out at me from across the room. I put a thumb up at him then stood by the doors waiting for the party to begin.

After what felt like hours of greeting my family and people who work with the publishing house my friends finally started to arrive. Hattie came first, dressed in the brightest dress I had ever seen, but it suited her.

"Congrats D!" She practically yelled in my face. "Have you seen Ray?"

"Yeah he's in the back getting ready."

"Okay, I'm going to go wish him luck, I'll come and find you later!" She announced galloping off into the sea of people. I laughed to myself as Holly, Carey, Dan and Summer entered the room.

"Hey guys!"

"Omg Daisy this is amazing!" Summer squealed.

"Thanks." I smiled back.

"Hey why don't you guys go get some drinks? I'll keep Daisy company." Dan suggested.

The three girls disappeared in the crowd and Dan stood by my side. "This really is amazing Daisy, you should be so proud of yourself."

"Thanks Dan. I umm... also want to say thanks to you for being so nice to Gerard I mean he's obsessed with you he says your one of his best friends and I'm really glad he has you."
"I'm really glad he has you too." Dan replied giving me an awkward, but nice hug.

"DaN SAVE ME!" Seb yelled, rushing towards us.

"Whats wrong?" Dan asked.

"Orlando is driving me crazy! He's so OCD about everything."

"Thats Orlando." I replied laughing.

"Tell him to to come see me, I'll keep him busy." I told Seb, you and Dan can go and find the girls.

Within 3 minutes Orlando was beside me. "What do you need D?"

"Just company." I sighed, happily.

"Oh, well I guess I can stay for a bit."

We continued greeting people as they walked in until nearly everyone had arrived, but there was one person I hadn't seen yet.

"Katherine!" Orlando yelled as she made her way into the party, followed by someone. I took in that someone and I smiled so wide I think my face should've broken.

"Clary?!" Orlando squealed.

"It's Lewis remember." He corrected Orlando.

"Of course it is, I just forget sometimes."

"It's okay, I understand it can be hard but you'll get it soon." He said.

"Hey, O lets go see John and Marilyn." Katherine ordered tugging him along.

I turned to face Lewis still smiling. "You look great!"

"Thanks." He mumbled. "But this is great too!"

"I'm glad you stuck with your red hair, I've always liked the red hair." I said walking into the ocean of people with him. "Hey what time is it?"

"7:50pm." He replied.

"I need to go to the band!" I yelped.

"Good luck!" He yelled, as I made my way to the back.

I made it there on time but not before Anna, Serena and Ryan dragged me into the photo-booth machine. The whole time I was just thinking about how I had succeeded in bring Rerena together. Although really, it was all their own doing.

"Guys I'm here!" I called out to the others, who were warming up.

"Thank god!" Gerard sighed, obviously worried about me.

"Guy you're on!" Someone who O had hired said.

"Okay guys lets do this!" Gerard spoke as he kissed me passionately. "Lets rock this show."
