The Sane Abandoned Me

~Mikey's POV~

I clutched Marilyn's hand as we pulled up to the parking lot. We exited the car and began to enter but Daisy made us stop.

"I just need a minute." She mumbled, taking a deep breath. Marilyn let go of my hand for a second to go and hug Daisy.

"It will be fine." She assured her.

"Yeah, it will." I added, although I wasn't so sure. We were at a hospital for people with problems and Gerard had a lot of them.

"Lets go in." Mom said, leading the way.

We got to a front desk and Mom asked for Gerard and they told us room 10. We walked along a long and white corridor, I could hear various screams from different rooms. How could we let Gerard go here? He's not crazy! I could fix him, I know I could.

We got to the door and Mom took a deep breath. "Okay, everyone be positive! Gerard needs that more then ever right now." She knocked on the door and a woman in a doctors coat answered.

"Hello, you must be Gerard's family."

Daisy and Marilyn looked at each other confused but didn't say anything. I quickly whispered. "Only family are allowed to see him at this time, so for now you are our sisters."

"Come on in." Gerard's doctor continued.

We all entered to see Gerard sat crossed legged on a stiff bed facing the wall. He turned around at the noise and a huge smile appeared on his before emotionless face.

"Daisy!" He beamed, outstretching his arms.

"Yeah, Daisy your sister." I quickly muttered. Gerard looked at me confused. But I gave him a 'don't fight me on this' look.

"Miss Way, if I could talk to you outside for a bit?" Gerard's doctor asked. Mom looked like thats was the thing she least wanted to do but she nodded and they left the room.

"Why are you my sister?" Gerard laughed and Daisy ran at him and clung onto his crisp hospital clothes.

"Only immediate family are allowed to see you. So meet your new sisters!" Marilyn chuckled.

"Listen, Marilyn I'm so sorry-" Gerard began.

"It's okay, I'm sorry too." She stopped him going over and joining in with his and Daisy's hug.

"Gee, I bought you some clothes." I said emptying my bag and re-vealing various band tees.

"Thanks Mikes." He said ruffling my hair then leaning closer to Daisy. "Can you help me put them on?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"Gerard Arthur Way!" She gasped. He pouted and she added. "That wasn't a no."

"Hey Marilyn, lets leave these two alone." I chuckled, guiding her out.

We stepped out into the corridor and Marilyn began rambling. "This is so sad. I can see that Daisy is so sad but she has to put a brave face on for him, but he's broken Mikey he's so broken and-"

But I silenced her by latching my lips softly onto hers. She gasped in surprise but massaged my lips slowly. I broke the kiss then placed my forehead against hers looking into her eyes.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked tilting her chin upwards.

"Of course." She answered smiling her beautiful smile. She put her hands in my hair and continued kissing me sweetly.

I walked back into Gerard's room to ask Daisy if she wanted anything from the cafe. I heard the two of them talking so I stuck my head around the corner. I could see Gerard sat with his back to Daisy and her desperately trying to get through to him.

"I can't believe you let them send me here." He spat not even looking at her.

"You need help Gerard." She mumbled her lip trembling.

"You don't know what its like!"

She got up abruptly and rushed to the door, I entered the room ready to have a go at Gerard but she fell into my arms and whispered. "Please don't."

So we left the room together as tears began falling down her cheeks.
