The Sane Abandoned Me

"Race you!" Hattie screeched running ahead of me happily.

"Hattie!" I groaned fighting to keep up with her. "I know you are still doing P.E but I stopped that thing for a reason." I said finally catching up.

"Sorry." She laughed. "I'm just excited for lunch."

"Why? I mean I know because food and all but it is only lunch."

"Can you keep a secret?" She asked looking at me un-certainly.

"Of course!" I assured her. "Anything."

"Well...I kind of like Richard."

"OM-" I began but we had gotten to the field where all our friends already sat so I quickly silenced myself and gave a wide smile to Hattie as we both joined the rabble, her sitting next to Richard.

"Hey guys." He said smiling warmly. We both greeted him and began eating our lunch.

"So, I hear you're good with guitars." Richard said directing it at me.

"Well, not really." I insisted.

"Well Gerard thinks different, he's been raving about the guitar you found all music lesson."
I continue eating my sandwich blushing a little. "It's pretty annoying actually although I like Gerard he's introduced me to some pretty cool bands." He carried on.

"Really?" Hattie asked.

"Yeah." Richard said smiling at her. "You know I think I want to change my name to Ray. I mean Richard isn't the best name for a guitar player."

"I like it!" Hattie announced while bringing a cupcake out of her lunchbox. I laugh as I watched Hattie and Ray fight over the cupcake when Orlando floped down next to me along with Holly and Anna.

"Daisy you'll never guess what!" O squealed.

"What?!"

"In computing we got put into partners and I was paired with Jack and like I can ask to switch if you want like I will understand." Orlando burst out.

"No its fine O!" I insist resting my head on his shoulder.

"You're the best."

"I know." I said smiling cheekily. O pushed my head gently and adjusted my view to a certain black haired boy. "Who's that Gee is talking to?" I asked.

"Oh, that's Dan Howell from our drama." Orlando explained.

"Yay!" I cheered getting up and doing a little dance.

"What?" Asked O looking up at me like I was mad.

"Gerard finally has a friend!"
