I woke with a grumble as I turned my alarm off. My anger quickly turned to utter joy and excitement when I realized this is it. This is my first day of sixth form! I looked up at the pictures hanging on my wall they told stories of my amazing summer in America. I had gone with my family as a treat for smashing my GCSE. It had been an amazing trip but I couldn't wait to get home. And now I am. Home.

I waited clutching my backpack so hard my knuckles were white. I was waiting for my next door neighbour, we always walk to School together although she is two years below me. My pink coat disguised me as a 'girly girl' but my black skinny jeans and Green Day top said different.

"Daisy!" Emma shouted.

"There you are!" I shouted back. "You only took about a year, sixth form will be over before I get there by this rate!"

"Calm down! I was only....five...maybe six minutes late."

We began walking me a lot brisker than her. "So I take it you're excited then?!" She asked a grin on her face.

"So excited!" I replied literally skipping along the road.

I crossed the road said goodbye to Emma and her friend Sophie and knocked on my best friend John's door.

"DAISY!" She squealed opening her door to reveal her all black outfit, save her white socks.

"JOHN!" I squealed back. John's full name was Joanne but she hated it with a passion so John it is.

"I am so excited!" John exclaimed as we began walking toward school.

"Me too! Do you think we will be in the same tutor?" I asked a little nervously. I really didn't know what I'd do if we were separated. Me and John we were like the Holy trinity along with my other best friend Marilyn.

Speaking of Marilyn; "Hey M just texted me." John said.

"She said 'Guys I'm freaking out!'"

"Why?!" I asked furrowing my brow.

"She can't find her Green Day T-Shirt!" John announced.

We arrived at school and entered the Common room as we were sixth former's now.

"Common room reminds me of Hogwarts!" I whispered to John.

"Same!" John replied. "And remember I'd be in Hufflepuff."

"How could I forget!" I giggled in her ear.

We quickly spotted Marilyn who was in a big huddle with the rest of our friends. There's the twins Anna and Serena, Hattie the one that's a little bit crazy but we all love her, Summer who's such an animal lover; She has horses and everything. Holly who is the tomboy of the group we love her all the same, Katherine who is my absolute bae. We weren't good friends until year 9 when we did a drama performance together we both love the same bands and celebrity's and I really couldn't ask for a better friend, Orlando who is the only boy in the group he's amazing at Art and design and is rich but the thing I love about him is he's not a snob about it he never boast about anything and he usually hides how good he is at Art even though I encourage him to be proud and finally we have Clary my crazy rebellious red headed geek! She has short red hair and glasses and she wants to be a man. And we all support her whole heartedly in this decision and I'm fine with her being bi, we all are. I mean why wouldn't we be?

We joined up with them all and I skipped over to M. "You found your top!" I yelled pointing at her Green day long sleeve.

"Yas thank god I did!"

"Nice tops guys!" Clary exclaimed. She herself was wearing a Sleeping with Sirens top. "So, seen any hotties yet?" She asked me and M.

"Jesus Clary! Keep your dick in your pants!" I yelled.

"What was that Miss Herondale?" My History teacher asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh nothing Sir!" I blushed. My History teacher was known for having an amazing ass and I have to admit it was pretty good. He smiled and walked away to greet some other sixth former's. Marilyn tilted her head looking at him and said

"Yep his butts still got it."

I laughed then walked over to Serena.

"So." I said acting innocent.

"What?" She asked sweetly. As if she didn't know.

"Do you have a lesson with Ryan today?"

"Umm maybe." She replied blushing slightly.

I nodded knowingly she's had a huge crush on Ryan for two years and I ship them so hard. This year I'm going to make Rerena happen!

"DAISY!" Clary, Katherine, John and Marilyn all chorused running over to me.

"What?" I asked.

"Don't look now but there's a hot rock dude behind us. And he has a leather jacket on!" Katherine said practically dying.

"You can't just tell me this and expect me not to look!" I hissed. And I did look, I stole a side ways glance and holy shit this guy was beautiful. He had black longish hair that just sort of sat perfectly and a funny shaped nose but it looked perfect on his face under those stunning hazel eyes.

"Omg!" I breathed bringing my hand up to my forehead dramatically.

"I know right!" Clary said excitedly.

"It begins girls." Marilyn said pulling us over to all the girls in our friendship group.

"What does?" Holly asked.

"The fight for him." Marilyn said pointing to the raven haired angel.

"Woah." The girls chorused.

"Yeah." Marilyn stated.

I didn't really think we should be 'competing' for him just let him choose who he wants. He may not even want any of us. I mean he could be gay for all we know!
"Welcome everyone!" The head teacher announced snapping me out of my thoughts.

"These are your tutors." He began. We all mentally crossed our fingers hoping at least some of us would be together. He began calling off names for the first tutor and he called Holly and Summer they squealed with joy to be together and he carried on calling out names turns out Clary, Orlando, Anna, Hattie, Serena, Katherine, John and Marilyn are all in the their tutor. That just left me and I never felt so nervous in my life. I thought to myself no it has too many girls in that tutor already no way I'll be in it, I'll be all alone. Dread started building up at the bottom of my stomach at the thought of being alone. Then he called my name. I shouted "Fuck yes!" At the top of my lungs and the whole room stared at me. I smiled sheepishly and joined my tutor squealing with all my friends. They continued calling off names of people in our tutor and one name made my heart stop. He said.

"And lastly, Gerard Way." The guy in the leather jacket walked over to our tutor group and we all looked at each other grinning from ear to ear. This really was going to be the best year of my life. My mind started imaging all the great things I would do this year when another name made my heart stop

"Jack Dawn."

Marilyn, Clary, Katherine, Orlando, Summer and John all looked at me sympathetically. They were the only ones who knew after all. I took a deep breath as Jack walked over to his new tutor. Not my tutor thank the Lord of heaven above. And I carried on watching as his friend Richard was also put in that same tutor. Clary came over to me and put her arms around me tightly. I lay my head on her shoulder.

This year will be good I said to myself I just have to face all the pain from yesterday and take it on.
