Even If Saving You Sends Me To Heaven
Blush.
The next day I saw her again; the new girl. She was even more mind-blowing than the last time I saw here. We weren’t in class, we weren’t even inside the school. The weather was still bad, worse than the day before. She was standing under the big oak tree in the school yard, her hands in the pockets of her slim, black coat. She was wearing a black skirt with grey tights, and army boots. She rounded the outfit nicely with a grey hat. She was standing alone, and trying to keep warm by shifting the weigh from one foot to another, while the wind and rain blew, soaking her.
I looked around in the school yard, and sighed in relief. Nobody was there, at least not paying attention to me. It was too early for most people to be here yet, and the school hadn’t even opened, so there was no going inside. I was, for once, lucky. I hesitated, before taking a few steps closer to her. I took a deep breath, and tried to act confident, as I walked over to her. Though, I hadn’t had all the bad luck I could get. Of course, I stepped on my fucking shoelace, and lost my balance. I tried to stay on my feet for all I was good for, which obviously wasn’t that much; because I fell. As a reflex, I grabbed on to the nearest thing to stay up, which of course was the fucking tree she was standing by. It was too slippery, though, and I hit the hard concrete with a thud. I cried out in pain, as my bruises started to hammer all over again. I peeked up at the new girl from where I was lying right in front of her, but I hadn’t noticed her listening to music. She had pulled out the earplugs, and looked at me, obviously not knowing what to do. This caused me to blush, and I quickly stood up. The girl was watching me with raised eyebrows, and looked over my wet clothes. Then, she cleared her throat, and looked at me.
“Can I help you?” she asked, and I just blushed, looking down at my worn-out shoes. Way to go, Mikey Way! You just officially made a fool out of yourself in front of your only hope for a friend. I noticed her getting impatient, and I sighed. “I just wanted to say welcome to the school. I’m Mikey.” I mumbled, and looked up at her face. I felt a light jump in my stomach, as I saw she was smiling back at me. “Thank you. I’m Alicia.” She answered, and reached out her had for me to shake. I offered a tiny smile in return, and shook it. I noticed she had painted her nails red, and she had different make up today. She had drawn a little black heart under her right eye. She was wearing white eye shadow and a lot of mascara, but it suited her. I must have stood there and stared at her for at least two minutes, because at last, she put the earplugs back in her ears, and smiled lightly.
I started to blush again, and stumbled my way back to the school gate. Today, had already been the best day in a very long time. Someone had actually smiled at me, at they had treated me as a real person. I couldn’t help but grin, as I made my way over to the fence, actually waiting for Anthony to arrive. Nothing could break this, nobody could take it from me. In that moment, I was happier than I would be in a long time, and I knew it. I savored the feeling, the joy, the butterflies, and the picture. The picture was burnt into the back of my eyelids. I saw the smile, played it over and over again in my mind. A smile that was meant for me, and me alone.

“Fucking bastard, get back here!” Harris yelled after me, while trying to catch me. Someone had told him that I had tried to rape (?!) his girlfriend. I had no idea where that rumor came from, but he obviously believed it. “I’m going to kill you! I’m gonna rip your throat out!” He continued to yell after me, as I ran, and he followed. I shoved my way past people, trying to get past, and most of them got angry, and shoved me twice as forcefully back. I fell to the hard floor more than one time, hitting my knees or twisting my ankle, but I always got up and kept running. I looked back; ha was still chasing me. Suddenly, my body collided with something big. Well it felt big, but it actually was just a guy. He looked at me confused, his black hair falling in front of his eyes. “I’m so sorry!” I mumbled, and tried to get away, but he held my shoulders.
“You fucking piece of scum, come back here!” Harris yelled. The guy’s eyes drifted over my head towards the gang running after me. Oh yes, more than one, many people had caught up with him, wanting to make my life even more miserable. The guy holding me let go of me, and I didn’t waste any time running again. I dodged for the men’s room, and flew into a cubicle. I knew that I wasn’t safe there, but I was so out of breath, I hadn’t managed to run any further. I locked the door, and sat on the toilet seat, my arms around my legs, while I tried to catch my breath. Soon, I would get even more bruises added to my collection of my war marks.

I had been sitting in the cubicle for a while now. I didn't know how long, but my breathing had returned to normal. And I was no longer shaking. Besides, they couldn't have run that slow? They where only a few feet behind me when I crashed into that guy. I slowly got up, and walked out of the men's room slowly. The halls were empty. I figured I'd skip the rest of the day. Just this once.
I kinda feel like cryinf since this hasn't been updated in so long, because it is SOOOOOO GOOD!
