Kids In The Dark

Great. Now I've scared her. She sat there, breathing heavily, for ten seconds before speaking.
"You scared the living crap out of me."
"Why was crap living in you?" I mouthed back, smiling my charming grin at her. She blushed.
"Because my dad put it there?"
I gave her a questioning look before she spoke again.
"Are you new to town?" I nod. "Thought so. I know everyone."
"Not my brother." I mutter, him running towards us.
"GERARD THERE'S A RAT IN THE SCHOOL!" He screamed, running towards us. The girl giggled, though she looked confused.
"That's Tommy. He lives in the Science lab, but he's allowed to run around the school." She says.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! SOMEONE COULD STEP ON HIM!" He rants. I kicked him in the crotch.
"Mikey, quit yelling!" I snapped, as he bent over in pain. The girl giggled again, laughing at his pain.
"Who's t-that?" Mikey moaned, pointing at her.
"Zippy." She cuts in, before I can say anything. "Hey, let me see your schedule."
"They, oddly, haven't put me in any classes yet. They're working on it, though."
"C'mon." I say, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the office. Mrs.Doll, the administrator, smiled at us as we came in.
"What's up, Kiddo?" She asked.
"Could you work Gerard and Mikey into some of my classes? I don't think they can find their way, yet."
"Sure thing. You can also have a five minute pass in every class your not with them in, to get them into their next class."
"Thank you!" Zippy calls back to her, smiling.
"No problem!"
We walk in silence, until Mrs.Doll calls us back in for me and Mikey's schedules. We compare schedules, finding out we have Math first hour, English third hour, lunch, and art fifth hour together. Mikey only has last hour with me., but second and fourth hour with Zippy.
