The One That Hurt Me

As I walk home from work my phone vibrates as I receive a new text message from Mikey:
"Hey, Frank I am worried about Gerard he isn't eating again and he barely comes out of his room."
Oh, no Gerard can't relapse into this again the last time he did this he barely survived. I replied with: "I will be over there in a second." Gerard has anorexia and depression me, Mikey, Ray and Bob worry about him all the time.

The last time he relapsed he started cutting again. We didn't know what to do with him, we didn't know how to help. He didn't eat for months we were worried sick but Gerard pushed us away. Mikey told me he found Gerard passed out on the bathroom floor with blood surrounding him. We had no choice but to put him in a institution it got so bad. He promised me he wouldn't relapse I was going over to make sure he kept his promise.

I headed straight for the Way brothers house which was luckily in walking distance of the local mall where I work at Hot Topic. I walk through he dark streets of New Jersey hoping Gerard is okay and hoping I don't get stabbed. I walk up to their door and knock the walk in. Mikey gets up from the couch and says " he's upstairs."

I run as fast as I possibly can to Gerard's room.
