Gerard's P.O.V

The rest of the day was extremely boring but it gave me some time to sort through my thoughts. Maybe I do like Frank. I-I think I do. I don't know. What if he doesn't feel the same way? I could just ask him to be my boyfriend. There's no harm in that. Accept we just met. Why does life have to be so fucking complicated?!?! I'll ask him and if he says yes great and if he says no then he says no. I really hope he doesn't say no though. But when am I going to ask him? I can't do it at Ray's house. That would be to weird. I could ask him when we're walking home. But if he says no then things would get awkward at Ray's. I could ask him on the way back from Ray's. Yeah. I'll do that

Time lapse 2 hours later. They leave Ray's house>>>>>>>>>>

"I totally kicked your ass." I say as me and Frank start walking. Mikey is staying over at Ray's so that gives me and Frank time to talk alone.
"Did not!" He yelled trying to hold back a laugh
"Admit it! I kicked your ass." I say back laughing
"Okay. Okay. Fine you kicked my ass." He said in submission, "And I'm the fucking pope." He whispered in my ear sarcastically. Why does he have to be so damn sexy?
We walk for a while and eventually Frank's house comes into view. It's now or never Gerard.
I look down, "Uh. Frank. Th-there's something I...uh...wanted to ask you."
He stops to look at me, "And what would that be?" Take a deep breath Gerard. Okay here goes.
"I was...uh...wondering if you wanted to maybe go grab a coffee sometime?" That's not so bad I guess
"Yeah. That sounds cool. How about Friday after school?"
"Sounds good."
