It's Normal for a Kid to Love His Teacher

I glared in jealousy as I watched a few girls wander over to Mr. Way, giggling and laughing on their way. They got to talk to him while I was stood with my two friends who were still trying to work out who my stupid fucking crush is.
There were six girls all stood around Mr. Way, all of them blushing just at the sight of him. Mr. Way talked to them, but I couldn't really hear much of what they were saying, only little bits here and there. Although I did catch one question.
''...would you ever date a student, Mr. Way? ''
I actually couldn't believe someone asked that question to him. He's a fucking teacher, and even if he would date a student, he wouldn't admit it to a bunch of idiot girls who are obviously crazy in love with him.
'' That would be against the law, my dear, '' Mr. Way said coolly.
'' But what if you were really in love with them? ''
I swear I saw Mr. Way's cheeks redden slightly.
''Well, it would still be against the law, '' his voice was firm in his reply, as if he was getting a little annoyed at the girls who kept pestering him for the answer that they wanted to hear.
I didn't hear any of the conversation for a while after that, but I guess Mr. Way had been clear when he told them no. I tried to strain to hear what they were talking about because by they look on Mr. Way's face he was pretty pissed off.
The last thing I heard him say to them was ''...okay I think you need to understand the fact that I'm a teacher and it's against the law if I were to date a student, stop asking me 'what if this' or 'how about if..' because no matter what it's still against the law.''
The girls looked pretty awkward after that and they said a small 'goodbye' and left pretty damn quickly. I saw Mr. Way put his head in his hand for a second, before taking it away and scanning over the whole area around him, and I took that as my queue to look away.
Both Henry and Oliver had been engrossed in their own little conversation the whole time, which was lucky because they hadn't noticed me staring at Mr. Way talking to a bunch of girls for about five minutes solid.
I was highly amused when said girls wandered past talking about Mr. Way.
'' I wish I wasn't a student...'' one of them sighed, desperation very clear in her voice.
'' Lets be honest here, Lucy, I'd still have a better chance with him now than you will ever in your life,'' a girl who happens to be in the same English class as me, called Jenny, muttered back. Wow, girls are really bitchy to each other, those two are meant to be best friends!
They carried on walking a little further, I heard Lucy say something back that I didn't quite catch and that obviously triggered off a massive bitch fight.
'' C'mon, let's watch this fight! '' Henry grinned.
'' Two girls fighting is the best, '' Oliver grinned back. I shook my head. I couldn't care less about two girls fighting, just the same as two boys fighting, or a boy and a girl, whatever. Fights are all the same to me, unless they're in porn which I've only come across a couple of times before, they're kinda hot. But still, seeing two girls just slap at each other and take turns in pulling each others hair isn't really my kind of lunch time entertainment. Nevertheless, I still stood and watched.
I was extremely glad when my kind of entertainment came soon after. Mr. Way glanced over and saw the crowd of people stood around watching the two screeching girls get at each other.
'' You know I'd have a better chance with him, just admit it! '' Jenny screamed, pulling Lucy's hair violently.
By this time Mr. Way had already gotten over and he was yelling at them to stop.
'' Girls, stop fighting! '' he said sternly, trying to push past the crowd. He yelled at one guy to get out of his way, but when he got to me I felt him place his hand softly on my shoulder.
'' Excuse me, Frank, '' he said politely, looking down at me with a soft smile.
