Every Summer Has A Story

After having that weird encounter with the red haired guy in the elevator and being all tired and moody,I fell asleep before I even had the chance to unpack,or finally smoke.Yes,I was that tired.Suddenly,my phone rang,waking me up a bit too abruptly for my liking.It was my mom.I ran a hand through my greasy black hair and answered."Hey mom" I mumbled while yawning."Hey Frankie.Your dad and I are going to walk around the area for a bit,get dressed!" She chirped enthusiastically.


I rolled my eyes.Its been such a long time since I've done this thing with my parents..I always stayed with my grandparents until I was 15 and I could go on vacation with my friends..With my parents,I got bored so easily."Uh..I'm not feeling very good..Can I stay here?" I asked hoping that I could relax a little.
"Oh my God,Frankie!Are you sick?Do you have fever?" My mom started rambling on and on."No mom,no!Im just tired..Go for a walk with dad I'm just tired and I wanna sleep." I said again,a bit too desperately now.I heard her sigh from the other end of the line and then agreeing.We hung up and I fell back on the bed.


Thank God,at least I have the rest of the night to myself,I could relax a bit.I turned on the TV flicking the channels without finding anything that grabbed my attention.I just looked out of the balcony door,observing the full moon and the sea.The view from there was astonishing to say the least,I could draw that moon glowing above the dark sea..While thinking about that,the mysterious guy popped in my thoughts.He was really attractive,his hair touching his shoulders..He had sucha cute face too..

But what was I even thinking? I'd probably never see that guy again,and even If I did,nothing would happen because he was such an asshole and made fun of me..I shook all the thoughts about him away and kept staring at the tv even though I didn't even know what was playing.Suddenly,I was craving to have a smoke.I got up from the bed and searched for the packet of cigarettes.When I finally found it,I got one and looked around for my lighter.I patted my jeans pockets to find it,but no luck.


I have forgotten my lighter at home I guess.I let out a groan and started thinking where I could possibly find one.Maybe the person that stayed in the room next to me,smoked and I could finally smoke.I got out of the room,Looking at the next rooms door,407 written on it with gold and red.I fixed my shirt and put on a smile while knocking on the door.

I waited for a few moments,and after I got no answer,disappointment took over me as I turned around to get back on my room,when I heard a door opening.I turned around and saw him.The red haired guy I've been thinking about.He was just in his boxers,his hair falling in front of his eyes.He was smoking too.He was so attractive it complicated my breathing.I must have been staring for a long time because he asked me if I enjoyed the view and he obviously wasn't talking about the sea.

I blushed and hid my face under my fringe,looking away from him.Way to go Frank."D-do you have a lighter?" I said with the most relaxed voice I could muster up.He raised his eyebrows and shook his head."What?But you're smoking!" I exclaimed."Yeah,I have a lighter,but not for you kiddo" he said smiling while blowing smoke in my face.I stayed there not knowing what to do.Again,I turned around to leave,his eyes burning holes on my back,when I realized I forgot my keys in the room.

"Oh fuck me" I sighed and I thought I heard him whisper "It'd be a pleasure" while laughing.Why was he always laughing.I turned to him and looked in his eyes desperately."Come on in,you can stay until your parents get back or whatever." He spoke the cigarette hanging from his red lips."How do you know I'm here with my parents?" I asked."I heard you shouting at your mom before..so yeah" he said and smiled.He sat on the edge of his bed and patted the space next to him,motioning me to come.


I sat next to him.We stayed in silence and looked out of the balcony glass door."It's beautiful tonight.." I heard his voice quietly echoing in the room.i nodded."What's your name?" I asked.He looked at me and bit his lip as if he was in thought."Gerard.Yours?" He spoke again after a while."Frank" He nodded and smiled."Nice to meet you,Frank.Nad I'm sorry for my beahavior in the morning.." He smirked.I shook my head."It's fine really..Many people confuse my age." He looked back at the moon."So you're 17?" He asked.Suddenly,a brilliant idea popped in my mind."No..I actually lied.I'm 21" he turned around and looked at me from head to toe."No.Way." He said and laughed.I tried to keep a straight face.


If he believed I was older,then he'd maybe be interested in me."No,I'm not kidding..I can show you my ID when I find another key." I said trying to look convincing."Well...if that's true..and I hope it is..we could do many things together.." He spoke while inching his face closer and closer.I was in loss for words."Has anyone told you how beautiful your face is? I could draw you..." He continued talking until he closed the space between us.His lips touched mine,but only for a brief moment,leaving me breathless.I went to speak,but my phone started ringing.My mom.again.


"Go and fing your parents Frankie..We'll talk another time" he said and winked at me.He walked me to the door and grabbed my hand in his and then letting it closing the door behind him.I felt a weight in my hand and opened it,revealing a lighter.I smiled as I walked through the corridors in search for my parents room.These 2 weeks are going to be awesome.
