Headfirst for halos

I quietly make my way back to the kitchen to make myself and Frank some coffee. I don't want to talk to Mr. Iero right now. What he said wasn't nice, and I didn't appreciate it.

It's quiet in the house. I can hear Mr. Iero quietly snoring, guess he fell back asleep. Someone who was really sorry probably wouldn't have fallen asleep that quickly, would they?
I hear my Frankie make his way down the stairs, making his way into the kitchen, following the smell of the coffee.

"Hey baby, how'd you sleep?" I ask him.
"I slept good, knowing you were there beside me" he said as he turned his head away slightly, trying to hide a small blush.

"Aaw, Frankie, I love you so much" I tell him, wrapping my arms around him, holding him firmly. I want him to know I'm not going anywhere. I wonder if I should tell him what his dad said? Maybe not, I don't want to start anything, or make him hate his dad.

"Gerard?" he says a little loudly. I jump a bit, startled as he breaks me out of my thoughts.
"Baby what's wrong?" he asked me with a concerned look on his face. My arms are still wrapped around him, so I squeeze him a little, letting him know there's nothing wrong. "Nothings wrong, I just spaced out a bit" I respond, putting on a reassuring smile. Hopefully he doesn't see through my lie.

He goes to say something else, but I cut him off quickly. "Hey, wanna go back upstairs and finish that movie?" I ask. He smiles and nods. I grab my cup of coffee and hand him his, and grab his free hand in the other. We quietly make our way past the living room, and past his sleeping douche of a father, and up the stairs. Hopefully we can just spend all day cuddling and kissing and watching movies.
