"Oh hey, good morning. I didn't expect anyone to be up this early"
Lynn plugged out her headphones and placed the borrowed key on the counter.
"I uhm brought breakfast. I've got some buns and croissants. I hope there is something for you too?" She held the bag in front of her chest as if she wanted to protect herself and her eyes darted through the room trying not to look at Gerard.
"And I made some coffee, eventhough I don't like coffee that much. I thought it may be nice if you get up and there is coffee, you know?" she smiled awkwardly.
Gerard just nodded as awkward as her. Maybe he should ask her what she likes instead of coffee? He cleared his throat. "If you don't like coffee is there anything else you want?"
"If you have black tea that'll be great. Can I use your shower for just about ten minutes?"
Gerard nodded and took another sip of his coffee. "Okay, I'll lay this here."
"Oh no no I take it." They awkwardly shuffeld around the bag of buns and as Gerard finally held it in his hand their eyes met and they smiled at each other.
Lynn spun around and headed to the bathroom. Gerard sighed.
She seemed really uncomfortable.
Is it really that hard to be nice to him? Is he really that disgusting?
He sighed again and made black tea for the female.
Just as he sat down the round table and placed Lynn's mug across, she came in again.
Her wet hair reached her back and she was wearing the same clothes as the day before.
She couldn't help but smile at Gerard. In that short amount of time he managed to set the table for breakfast and make her tea. "Thanks. You didn't had to do it." She blushed and sat down, placing her tablets in front of her. Gerard looked up his coffee and shrugged it off.
"Why do you need these tablets?" He asked curious.
"Oh these are just Vitamins and Magnesium and Iron tablets. Nothing fancy. I'm just doing so much sports that I kind of need them sometimes to be able to walk. And the Vitamins and Iron I take because I don't eat enough of them" she stirred her tea and got the teabag out.
"Do you know when Frank normally wakes up? We have to go in about half an hour." Gerard got to his feet. "He sleeps like he's dead. I go and get him."
He made his way to Frank's room, knocked polite and entered. There he was sleeping tight. "Frankie" Gerard moved towards the bed. "Frankie get up. You're having a date in the gym." Frank groaned and turned around. "FRANK!" Gerard yelled at him.
Frank's eyes shot open and he hit his head on the cupboard right above his bed.
"Gerard you little twat! Who do you think you are?! It's fucking eight in the morning!"
Frank yelled back and got up. Gerard got out of the room and ran Frank on his heels.
Frank swearing and Gerard laughing through the apartment the others were awoken till they got to the kitchen.
Lynn was grinning while Gerard hid behind his mug.
Frank's furiosity turned into embarassment as soon as he perceived Lynn's presence.
He scratched his head "I'll be right back. Just changing." He pointed at his boxers and left the room. "It's half past eight already by the way! Hurry up!" Lynn shouted after him. Still grinning into her tea.
After some minutes which Lynn and Gerard shared in the peace of silence Frank came back in clothes behind him Mikey and Ray still sleepy and in their pyjamas.
"Oh yass, real breakfast." Mikey sat down and started chewing on a bun happily.
"How did you sleep on the couch?" Ray asked. "It was fine thank you" Lynn winked at him.
Her phone started ringing, frowning she looked at the display.
Benji.
"I'm sorry I have to take this" she walked some steps away and accepted.
"Hey Benji"
Gerards head snapped up and tried to listen closer.
"Do you think he's her boyfriend?" Mikey whispered. "I don't know. At least she didn't told me something like that" Ray whispered back. "Of what she said yesterday, they seem pretty close, so it could be." Frank commented.
Gerard's heart dropped. What if he really was her boyfriend?
Nothing. He said to himself. He does not like her in that way. he simply doesn't.
"No Benji that's not a good choice. Okay send me the pictures and we talk tomorrow. Bye. Love ya." She came back. "Alright Frank you're ready for hell?" She smirked at him.
Frank sighed in defense. "Is there anything I can do about it?" He joked.
Lynn kissed Ray's cheek to say good bye and waved at Gerard and Mikey.
"Thank you for the tea Gerard."
and she was gone.
