You Wear Me Out

I took notice that I was done washing myself and got out of the shower. I also noticed that I only had ten minutes to actually get myself together. I can do this, if I do it every once in a while then here I go. I thought to myself whilst drying myself off. "Gerard, dude you only have like ten minutos!" I heard Mikey trying to speak Spanish, well he was close right?
"I'm almost done Mikes! Holy fickety frack." I lied, I was actually just leaving the bathroom, towel around my waste. Getting the clothes from my bed and then putting on the clothes. Whoop, there goes on the Morrissey shirt. I thought to myself.
"Gerard, I know when you're lying! Hurry your ass up we got five minutes!"
"Great Mikey, just great! Do you see how much I give a shit? Oh wait, haha you can't see me." I chuckled with so much sarcasm. I slipped on my black skinnies and walked back into the mirror. Ugh...no matter what I still look like I cried the night before. I think but yet I put that smile that contains all the tragedies I've never thought were real. I hear the door knob twist, I look out the bathroom door and ask, "Do you just want to use the car?"
"Yeah, that's why I came in here. So I could tell you that we can use the car." Mikey smiled and looked at his feet or carpet. I nodded and looking at the contents my cabinet held, it was like Narnia.
"Hey Mikes?"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"How long do we have until we can actually leave?" I asked.
"Umm, aproximately a whole 30 minutes."
"Great, that's all the time I need." I smirked and turned around knowing that Mikey was at the door alreay.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Remember that hair dye I was going to use two months ago but didn't want to use?"
"Yes, quite frankly I do. You have it don't you?" I nodded, "And guessing you want to apply it before applying the eyeliner?" Mikey knew what was going on and he let out a sigh.
"Well, looks like you got it all right." I said with happiness.
"Well what are you looking at me for? Get the box and start putting it on." Mikey already accepting it and mom doesn't care what I do just as long as it's not illegal. I grabbed the box and took it's contents out, my hair was dry and all. Do I-"Do I just-"
"Put it on? Yes, just put it on, it's like how you did your black hair. Put it on carelessly." Mikey said cheerful. I did what he told me, put it on carelessly. My mom came in my room and asked what we were doing and said, "Oh, well Gerard don't hurt youself and umm it's 7:10 the bus already left five minutes ago. Guessing Gee you'll be driving to school?"
"Yep." Mikey and I both said, I kept rubbing my head and the hair dye was all over me. My mom left me and Mikey to our buisness and Mikey was in so much amusement. I got all of my hair red and waited for ten minutos until I started to rinse my hair. It was only 7:20 and Mikey and I had to get going but there was something missing. My hair needed to be dried just a little bit. I looked at Mikey and he gave me a curious look.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I don't know, I feel like something is missing but I can't put my fingure on it."
"Hmm, maybe cut it. It's funny seeing your hair long and red. It should at least be shorter."
I looked in the mirror and nodded in agreement. "Alright, hand me the scissors on my dresser. Hurry! We only got five minutes till we literallly got to go."
"Alright!" Mikey ran to my dresser and back. He handed me the scissors and I just looked at them and exhaled. I held them to my hair and looked at Mikey, he smiled and so did I. I took the scissors and cut the shoulder length hair. It was all then cut to ear length, something not too short or too long but just right to the femine spot. I looked in the mirror and smirked. "Great! You look great but I bet you'll look better with the eyeliner!" He pulled out the two red and black eyeliner sticks. I grabbed them and quickly applied them one. Smudging both of them but emphasisng the red one. I gave Mikey the keys and he go the car to turn on, I grabbed my bag and coat just in case it was going to rain because today had that vibe. I quickly put on my converse and made my way downstairs.
"Whoa! Gerard? I thought you were just going to die your hair?" My mom asked.
In response I said, "Well it felt like something was missing and then Mikey pointed it all out." Mikey smiled and walked into the house right after I got to the car. I quickly ran back inside and gave my mom a kiss goodbye and so did Mikey.
"Don't worry mom, we will do well in school and we won't be out too late." Mikey smirked.
"I know you two won't be, be careful." My mom said before we left the house.
Mikey and I got in the car and started making our way to the school. Our school is within walking distance, but considering the fact that we live in Bellevile, well that just explains a lot.
Whilst I was driving, I felt a stare like a strong stare possibly from Mikey. "What is it?" I questioned not thinking if it were actually his stare I felt creeping up my spine.
"What? Oh, umm...I was just admiring your hair. I mean you do look fucking amazeballs." Mikey chuckled.
I glance quickly at him and smirk, "You think? I feel weird with short hair."
"Yeah, I like it short and the red? Well, that is something I have to get used to."
"I think it's something we all have to get used to Mikes." I looked at him and smiled.
"Yeah that's true." Mikey said, Mikey rarely talked usually it's because he had nothing to say or he just wasn't up to it. By the time we've finished our small talk we arrived at the school on time. The bell rang right when Mikey and I had just gotten out of the car.
"Damn, hurry your ass up to class okay? I got to hurry my ass up as well see you at lunch." I said to Mikey while walking up the stairwell leading up to what I would call, The Kingdom of Hormonal Teenagers, also known as high school.
