The Monster that lives on my back

I think things are different now then they were before. I had escaped from my past, I had run away from my enemy but it still lingered with me on my back. My life became a frenzied panic of trying to survive and lay low. I couldn't risk being found and I had to be ready to up and leave at the last minute so falling in love with someone wasn't an option, but then you walked in with your own monster on your back and I couldn't look away.
