Chapter 7
- Frank's Pov-
the messages kept flooding in. My mom wouldn't do anything about it, the next thing I knew the final text message came in- the one that struck fear in me the most:
"I know you're home, I can see you in the window. Luckily for you, the order of protection expires tomorrow. I can show you what a real man feels like, not that fuck boy you've been hanging around. Nothing's going to protect you from me. I own you, whore. "
I closed everything that was open and ran to my room. This can't be happening, this can't be happening, this can't be fucking happening
I need to tell somebody, but who? The cops won't do anything, my mom obviously doesn't care, who's left? Before my brain could comprehend what was going on, my hands were already dialing Gerard's number. "Please answer, please answer" I whispered into the phone until he picked up
'hey, Frankie, whats going on? Are you okay? It's kind of late..' I glanced at the click and noticed it was already 11:45
'no, you remember my ex boyfriend, Jorge?' I tapped my door as he replied
' the abusive dickwad? Yeah, what about him?' I heard the edge in his voice. After I launched into the whole story and read him the last text message he was quite for a long while
' Gerard?...' I heard shuffling on the other end of the phone
' get your shit in a bag and wait in your room. I'll be there in 5 minutes- you're going to stay with me until I handle him'
' what about my mom? I don't wanna leave her here alone- not with him outside' I heard everything go silent on the other end of the line.
'okay, yeah, so I'll go over. I'll be there in 5' I breathed a sigh of relief, at least he didn't treat this as a light thing. Really the only person who knows the full story is Gerard. I hope this doesn't affect our relationship by sending me back into depression. I've been good for so long, I don't wanna relapse
At that thought, my hand unconsciously went to my scars, the ones covered by tattoos... My thoughts changed as soon as My phone started ringing.
' I'm here, but I'm going to check outside before I go in, kay? Don't worry, it'll be okay, just deep breaths' I hadn't realized I was hyperventilating I did just as he said and took a few deep breaths before saying 'okay, be careful, I don't know if hehe's out there or not' I heard the smile in his voice 'please, if I handled that dumbass once, I can do it again' I shook my head and hung up
- Gerard's Pov-
as soon as I got that phone call from Frank, my blood started boiling. I was furious, how could his mom be so stupid? She knows what happened to him! I started to shake while I was throwing things in a bag
' Mikes! See if Ray can come and stay with you, I have to go to Frank's for a few days, and I don't want you hear alone while I'm gone' I shouted up the stairs. Most likely he was in the kitchen
' Got it!' once everything was settled I threw my shoes on and ran to my car. The whole process took about 3 minutes and Frank only lived 2 minutes away. Good timing
I called Frank to let him know I was there and that I was going to check around outside for Jorge.
I walked around for about 10 minutes , but didn't see anything or anyone- but I know what a clever bastard he is. I called Frank again to have him open the door. 'okay, I'll be right there' he sounded like he was crying. Fucking hell, I knew this would start something with him. I really hope he doesn't throw away almost 1 year or being clean....
He opened the door and looked around before pulling me inside, locking the door, and pulling me into a tight hug.
' I'm so fucking scared, Gee. You have no idea I just-' he started sobbing uncontrollably before I picked him and my bag up with one swift movement and carried him to his room
' did you eat dinner? Are you hungry?' he nodded twice. 'okay, lay down- did you shower?'
'no, I didn't get a chance to. I'm going to take one now. Can you tell my mom that you're here? I don't want her to freak out' I kisses his forehead and headed towards his mom's room
I knocked three times. ' come in ' I opened the door
'Gerard! What a nice surprise! How are you doing? Are you going to stay for dinner?' the smell of liquor filled my nostrils ' I'm good! And I actually am going to stay for a while, if that's alright with you?' she smiled ' Of course! How are your parents doing?' I felt my heart sink into my stomach.
' they left My brother and I last year, remember? They, uh, yeah, they left' I looked at my hands. I knew what was going to come next 'but, you're 16, right? So how do you and your brother live in a house with the necessities and beyond?' this happens every single time she's drunk and I'm over.
'well, they left us the house, which is paid off and my grandmother left us her life savings in her will. But, Mikey and I have well paying jobs.' I was starting to get sad now
'well, okay, honey. I'll let you go so you and Frank can hang out' she winked at the last part. What even....
When I walked back into Frank's room, he was already out of the shower. He was sitting on his bed staring at nothing
' Are you okay, handsome? ' he nodded a bit ' just tired..... Can you sleep in here with me tonight?' He sounded so broken and scared. ' of course, babe. Let me go get some blankets and I'll make a bed on the floor, okay?' he shook his head. ' No, sleep in the bed with me. Please?'
'okay let me go and change ' he smiled and nodded 'okay, love' I smiled and walked into the bathroom. I still haven't talk to Mikey about this whole relationship thing....

A few things:
1) sorry it's been a while, but I got really busy with midterms and stuff
2) I SAW FIATC LAST NIGHT. LIVE. THEY WERE LESS THEN 10 FEET AWAY FROM ME. IT WAS AMAZING. FRANK KICKED SOME GIRL OUT, BUT IT WAS GREAT

4) I'm on Spring Break so, I should update a lot more
5) I'll update another chapter tonight, to make up for my abscence
