Zombie Movie

As soon as Gerard walked through the front door he could feel the frantic energy that could only be caused by Mikey.
“Mikes I’m home!”
“Great! Now get your ass over here!” Delightful, Gerard thought.
“I’m just going to take a quick shower and then I’ll be back!” He shouted once more while walking up the stairs to the bathroom.
“OF ALL THE DAYS NOW YOU DECIDE TO TAKE A SHOWER???” Mikey practically screeched, followed up by laughter, Gerard could only assume came from Frankie and the rest of Mikeys friends.
“Oh fuck off...” Gerard mumbled as he pulled off his shirt and started walking up to the second floor of their house.
“Ooo I like the view!” Gerard spinned around after hearing the deep but musical voice from down the staircase.
“What the fuck!” Gerard exclaimed while covering his exposed chest.
“Oh keep your pants on, I was just grabbing some waters for the guys.” Frank said while already leaving. Gerard took a deep breath. He’s known this kid for 2 hours now and already Frank had him unraveled and nervous, like an immature 6th grader.
Gerard shook his head. From here on out, he was calling the shots. Or at least thats what he told himself.
After taking a shower and putting on clean clothes, he went outside where Mikey was filming.
He saw Frank putting zombie make up on Bob and Ray, two of Mikeys friends that sometimes would hang out with Gerard as well. They were pretty cool, Gerard just enjoyed being by himself more. Suddenly a death grip pulled him aside.
“Ok so I need you to set up the lighting, and get Ray over here so we can start. I’m already an hour behind, you got the scene sketches for me?” Mikey hardly paused for a breath. Gerard nodded while handing over the pages he had drawn up earlier to his younger brother.
“I’m on it, boss.” He gave a sarcastic salute, earning an eyeroll from Mikey, and walked over to Ray.
“Hey, Mikey needs you know.”
“Oh great dude! By the way, I heard you met Frank! Real nice guy, right?” Ray looked as if he knew something Gee didn’t and that did not sit well with him.
“Uh yeah...I guess so.”
“Frankie would always talk about the guy that worked at the comic shop, and once we figured out that you were Mikeys brother, he freaked! Although don’t tell him I told you that!” Ray said with a wink.
Gerard felt a bubbling inside his stomach, so Frank really did like him it seemed. If Gerard wasn’t so god damn shy maybe he could make a move. Although the more he thought about it, Frank seemed to have the “moves” covered
“Ha, thats great.” Gerard mentally slapped himself for the second time today for being so awkward. “Well uh...here's Mikey, go on and...act...I guess...” Gerard mumbled and with a wave, left Ray and his Frantic brother to set the scene while he went to go get some of the lighting equipment.
Gerard was freaking out. Yes he had been in relationships but all of those, both boys and girls, he knew would be short term from the beginning! Gerard liked being alone...that was until now. He looked over to where Frank was, laughing with a group of other actors. How is it that this guy is always laughing? For some reason, Gerard was drawn towards Frank. But what if Frank didn’t feel the same way? What if this was just another fling for him? Gerard knew he wasn’t special. He was a college dropout, living in his parents basement, working at a comic shop-nothing too impressive. Frank had goals. Frank already had happiness, something else that Gerard was lacking. Maybe it’s just best to leave it be. Gerard thought. And with that, his mind was made. He refused to have feelings for Frank. It simply would not work.
