I'm Okay, Trust Me

I pulled away from my sleep by the sound of the door slammimng. I look at my 6:29. Fuck my dads home. And I had another fucking minute I could be sleeping. I sit up and *beep beep beep* I hit the alarm buttom. Okay lets see, first day of school, my dad just got home, he's probably drunk, yeah this isnt gonna end very well. I hesitantly get up and walk to my dresser to get my iron maiden shirt and black skinny jeans. I put them on and put on my old beaten up converse. I go to the bathroom and put on some eyeliner. Oh I know how I can avoid my dad! I can sneak out my bedroom window. Perfect. I rush out of the bathrrom toward my room when I run into mt dad. Fuck that plan went well.
"Where you going in such a rush frankie. Do you not want to see your dad?" I dont answer I just avoid looking at him. "Look at me when im talking and answer me whem I ask you a question." he grabs me by the hair and drags me to the stairs.
"Dad please let go I have to go to school! Toby is expecting me to pick her up!" He push me on the ground and kicks my ribs repeatedly. When hes done I get up and slowly walk to my room. I grab my grey hoodie that has an eagle in a darker shade of grey and is three sizes to big. I grab my bag that is one of those over the head one strap bag things and ooen my window and carefully climb down the fire ladder I placed there last year fir this exact purpose. You see last december my mom died and my dad started to drink in order to cope and now he's an abusive drunk. When I get off the ladder I hold my ribs and walk to the school which is only about a five minute walk. When I get to the school I soon hear a loud firmiliar screech
"Frankie!"She gasps wheN she sees me holding my ribs. She runs iver to me and grabs my shiuldrrs and gives me a worried look."are you okay. Did he hurt you? I swear one of these days im going to.."
"October, no, no matter how much he abuses me hes the only family I have left."
"Oh frankie" she hugs me and a little to tight and I let out a sound of pain. "Sorry, come on lets go to the woods so I can check for bruises" I nod the woods is right next to the school but all the qay there I feel as someones watching us. Its probably just my paranoia. When we are out of sight of people I still feel lile someone is watching us. "Okay jacket off shirt up. " I slowly take of my jacket wincing in pain and then go to my shirt. "Oh frankie" she touches my ribs which hurts like a mother fucker when I hear someone gasp. I immediately put my shirt down and look to the area where I heard it from. I walk over there ignoring toby. I look around the tree and theres a black haired boy.
"Did you follow us? " he looked down and nodded his head "whu?"
"I saw you holding onto your ribs amd her reaction when she saw you and I heard her ask if some one hurt you again and it sounded like it has happened before and I just wanted to.. I dont know. Make sure you were okay." I nod my head.
"Toby come here."
"Frank like I was saying I dont thino anyrhing was broken just some."when she sees the boy she droos whay she was saying "who's this?"
i look at him and he answers. "I'm gerard me and my little brother recently moved here from a few towns over. " I look towards Toby.
"He saw the bruises and heard us talking about them. He didnt catch who did it though."
"Do you think you should explain it?"
"No im not sure if I should trust him. I mean we did just meet him "I grab my phone and glance at the time. "we should get back to the school. It starts in fifteen minutes. Gerard it was nice meeting you but we should all get to school."
