Chapter Two

In the morning after, Frank tried especially hard to cover up the dark circles under his eyes. He’d gotten next to no sleep the night before due to the fact that he kept dreaming about Gerard. Every time things got steamy in those dreams, he’d jolt himself awake. Dressing in his school uniform, he pulled on a hooded sweatshirt and his skeleton fingerless gloves before groggily walking out into the cold morning.

After getting dressed in his uniform, Gerard grabbed his bag and started toward the door. "Gerard, I'm driving Mikey today. He's still got a cold and I don't want him out in this weather." Called his mom as he opened the front door. "Alright, mom."
Once out into the cold air, the older Way started down the street, hoping to catch Frank on the way to the school.

Music was blaring in his ears as he walked along, trying everything he could to keep him awake. Frank even found a bit of solace in another smoke. Then, movement out of his periphery caught his attention. A tired smile formed on his lips when he recognized that face. Yanking out his headphones, he waved to the older boy. “Hey Gerard!”

"Frank!" He grinned, jogging over to him. Without thinking, Gerard brought his arms up and wrapped them around the shorter boy. "Morning!" After realizing that he was holding the other in his arms, he quickly let go and backed up. "Whoops." He said, his eyes widened.

His cigarette was knocked from his lips as he was embraced, but he hardly noticed. When Gerard pulled away, he was actually a little sad. “It’s okay. It’s pretty cold out here and you’re kind of warm..” Frank chuckled with a bit of a rosy blush on his ears and cheeks. “Walk to school with me?”

"Of course!" He offered a smile. "So, last night I had a weird dream." Gerard started, not entirely sure if he should explain it or not. "And, you were in it."

“O-oh really?” Frank stammered, suddenly nervous about his own dreams last night involving his friend. “Tell me about it..?”

"Sure." His face was starting to grow red as he recalled his dream. "Well, it started out with you and I sitting in class, then we walked out together holding hands. We walked out into the front yard of the school and just sat under a tree, and you kissed me.. It was, weird, but I liked it..." He looked away from Frank, his face red.

A nervous chuckle escaped Frank’s lips as he rubbed at the back of his neck. That dream sounded tame compared to the things his mind had come up with last night. “I-I.. I had a dream like that, too.. But, you were the one who kissed me first.. and..” With a deep breath, he finished his sentence in a rushed murmur, making all of the words run together. “And you went further.”

"I-I did?" Gerard asked, tilting his head a little as they walked. "What did I do?"

“Let’s just say your hand was pretty busy..” He admitted shyly, burying his face in his hands with some inner insulting for spilling his dream.

"Would you like that?" Gerard asked, genuinely curious. "If I were to, y'know..?"

Frank chewed at his lip ring, afraid to answer because he didn’t want to give away his feelings so soon. Swallowing hard, he ran a hand through his hair. “I-I mean.. if you wanted to I wouldn’t.. say no..”

At Frank's words, Gerard's face heated up. Pale skin flushed a deep red as he scrambled for a way to respond. "Oh, really..?" He tried to act like the 'cool older guy' he knew Frank thought of him, but he fell short as he voice cracked on the last word.

Even though Gerard’s voice cracked, that didn’t change Frank’s own embarrassment. “W-Well.. I mean every guy needs to get off sometimes right? Doesn’t matter what method you use..” Sure that wasn’t the best cover-up, but it was the best he could think of off the top of his head.

"You've, uh, got a point there." Gerard nodded. The two of them were almost to the school by this point, and as they continued talking, they hadn't noticed where they were. "Whoa, when did we get here?" Gerard laughed as the front of the school building came into view.

Frank raised an eyebrow at the other’s comment, looking up from the sidewalk where his gaze had been glued. “Holy fuck.. I don’t know. Guess time flies when you’re talking about dreams and handjobs..” He muttered, chuckling nervously.

Gerard laughed at Frank's comment, finding that to be truth. "Well, yeah. Speaking of handy-j's, by the way, meet me in the bathroom after lunch." The older made snickered as he walked to his first class.

Words attempted to bubble up on Frank’s lips, but they were evaporated by the small gasp that he responded with. Was that.. No way. Face flushed entirely red by this point, Frank made his way to his first and most tolerable class, art.

The day passed quickly up until lunch time, where Gerard anxiously tapped his foot on the ground as he took a bite from the apple on his tray. He scanned the lunchroom in search of Frank, and just as the bell rang for lunch time to be over, he sprung up from his seat, tossed his garbage away, and started for the bathroom.

Frank couldn’t eat lunch because of his nerves. From the far table at the back of the cafeteria, he observed as Gerard tried to find him, pulling his hood over his face every time he thought he would be spotted. When the bell rang, he could’ve spontaneously combusted from the amount of nervous energy residing in him. He took a deep breath before heading to the bathroom, having seen Gerard enter it only seconds before.

Once in the restroom, Gerard stood and waited for Frank to enter. As he had, Gerard smiled and leaned himself against the wall. "I'm glad you decided to join me."

“Well, you didn’t really ask if I wanted to, you just told me to.” Frank replied as coolly as he could manage, shoving his hands in his pants pockets and shrugging. “So, here I am.”

Pushing some of his raven hair behind his ear daintily with his middle finger, Gerard shrugged. "True. Anyway..."

They stood in silence for a few seconds, and in that time Frank’s heart began to do strange things. “Anyway.. What…?” He finally spat out, trying to look into those captivating hazel eyes.

"Hmm.." Gerard brought a long, pale finger to his lips and began to tap them in thought.

Frank’s eyes were drawn to Gerard’s finger, making his own lips part as he stared at the other male’s. Nerves ate at his empty stomach, but still he was pulled forward by his own desire. Within seconds, he was only a forearm’s distance away from the older boy, and he carefully removed their hand from their lips.. long enough to give a soft, anxious kiss.

Surprised by the sudden kiss, but welcoming to it, Gerard kissed back. Once Frank had pulled away, Gerard took the smaller male by the wrist and led him into the largest stall in the restroom. Closing and locking the door behind them, Gerard then placed his hands on Frank's face and kissed him again, feeling a spark zap through his body.

More nerves built up in Frank’s chest as he was led into the stall, yet somewhere deep in his mind, excitement thrilled through him. He gasped a bit as he was pulled in for another kiss but soon, he let his eyes flutter closed and gently wrapped his arms around the older boy’s shoulders.

Practically smiling into the kiss, Gerard's hands moved from Frank's face down to his hips. Without much thought he pressed him hard against the closest wall, and worked his kiss from his lips to the boy's neck.

When the attention of the other's lips moved south, Frank let out another set of small gasps. He had to keep reminding himself to be quiet.. Lest anyone hear them doing this. To aid in his attempts to stay quiet, he bit his lip as one of his hands tugged gently on Gerard's raven locks.

Gerard then pulled back and looked into Frank's eyes. "Your skin is really soft." He commented, purposely trying to keep the situation light.

Releasing his lip from its captivity between his teeth, he smiled a bit, blushing. "Thanks." He answered softly, running his hand through Gerard's hair. "My lip ring didn't get in the way, did it?"

"Oh, no, definitely not." He smirked. "As a matter of fact, I think it added to the er, 'hotness' of the kiss."
"That makes me feel better." Frank murmured with a nervous chuckle. Another depth of red tinted his cheeks at the other's comment before he close the space between their faces and kissed Gerard again.

With each kiss Gerard felt himself growing more and more aroused. Truth be told, Frank was his first kiss, and he had no idea what it would do to him.

He held onto the kiss for as long as he could, savouring the taste of Gerard's lips. But, they were soon interrupted by the loud din of the school bell. Pulling away with a soft gasp, Frank looked to Gerard. "What do you want to do?"

With a reluctant sigh, Gerard looked up to the ceiling in thought. "We'd probably better get to class. Don't want anyone to be suspicious."

"Okay.. See you in debate, then?" Frank replied, almost sounding saddened as he combed his fingers through Gerard's hair.

"Of course, Frankie." Gerard smiled, reaching behind him to unlock the bathroom stall. After peeking around to make sure that no one was in there, he stepped out and motioned for Frank that the coast was clear.

Nodding, Frank stepped out of the stall and started to make his way for the door. Before he left, however, he gave Gerard a quick peck on the cheek, then headed off to his next class with a slight bounce in his step.

Doing the same, Gerard climbed the stairs to his calculus class. Once the class was over, there were only one more period separating him from Frank. Thankfully it was one he could tolerate: art. Sitting down at his usual table, the one closest to the Mrs. Robertson's desk, he pulled a pencil and his sketchbook from his messenger bag and started to doodle. By the time class was over, Gerard looked back down at his page only to find that he'd drawn Frank's face. Quickly closing the sketchbook and tucking it away, he sprang from his chair and darted out the door to debate class.

Algebra, the class Frank had before debate, had soured his mood exponentially by the time it was over. He'd nearly forgotten that he'd be seeing Gerard in the next period. As the freshman plopped down in his desk at the back of the room, he was staving off angry tears. The one day he actually tried to understand math.. and he still couldn't get it.. He felt so stupid..

Having to calm his nerves just slightly before entering debate class, Gerard walked through the door and made his way back to his desk beside Frank. Noticing the boy's sour demeanor, he reached over and tapped him on the shoulder. "You okay?" He asked quietly.

He didn't want to talk, not trusting his voice, so instead he brought out another sheet of notebook paper and a pen. On the note he wrote out a summarized version of his disappointment: "I don't fucking try in school anymore and I was reminded why I don't last period. Fucking math..."

Pulling the pencil from behind his ear, Gerard replied: "Fuckin' math is ridiculous anyway. You'll be okay, Frankie. If you want I can help you, though? I'm not the best but I can try to help you with your homework?"
One nuisance tear escaped his vigil while waiting for the note in reply, but he wiped at his eyes to prevent anymore. The boy visibly relaxed some as he answered: "I'd like that. Maybe then I'd have a fucking chance at sort of understanding this algebra bullshit."

Gerard read over the note, the offered Frank a bit of a smile. "I'll make sure you pass." He wrote back, then passed the note over to him.

A grateful smile traced Frank's lips as he folded the note up and stuffed it in his pocket. He'd have to save these.. just because. All through class, he tapped his foot quietly, thankful when the bell finally rang.

Waiting for Frank to stand and start walking, Gerard picked up his messenger bag from the floor. "So, what do you want to do today, Frank?"

Frank shrugged as he grabbed up his backpack and slung one of the straps over his shoulder. "I don't know.. I really need help with this homework, but where do you want to do it? Like outside or at one of our houses or something?"

"Why don't you come to my house?" Gerard tilted his head. "You can meet my brother, and I can help you with your work."

"Sure. Let's get walking." Frank mused, making his way for the door with a slightly excited smile. He wasn't sure what he could call Gerard anymore.. A friend? Lover? Friend with benefits? He just knew there was more of a bond than that.

Gerard nodded as the two made their way from the school building and out into the cold.

Strangely enough, around Gerard, Frank didn’t feel like he needed a cigarette when he walked home. The older boy was enough of a stress reliever, even if his nerves were acting up. “So like.. what’s your schedule in school? See if we have any of the same classes..?”

"I don't think we do, otherwise I'd probably see you." Gerard chuckled, walking in step with Frank. "But, I've got biology, English, Spanish, history, lunch, calculus, art, then debate."

“I meant if we take any of the same things.” Frank explained with a soft laugh and shove to the other boy’s shoulder. “I have art, history, English, Spanish, lunch, Physical Science, algebra, then debate.”

"Oh, cool." Gerard smiled. The pair walked for a while longer until they came to a two story house that looked pretty run-down. "So yeah.. This is my place."

Frank’s eyes scanned over the house, comparing it to his own in the process. “Looks pretty nice.” He commented, waiting for the older boy to lead him inside.

Doing just that, Gerard led the other up the porch steps and in through the front door. Inside the house smelled of potpourri and incense, and looked like a normal New Jersey home. "That's Mikey," Gerard said as he pointed over to his brother whom was reading on the couch. "My mom's in the kitchen or in her room, and my room is downstairs."
When he had heard his name mentioned, Mikey looked up. "Who's that?" The younger Way asked, fixing his glasses.
"This is my b-, er, friend, Frank."

The freshman’s cheeks lit up a light pink at the near-slip of Gerard’s words. So that’s what they were thinking.. “Hi Mikey.” Frank waved with a soft smile, huddling into his hooded sweatshirt from shyness and looking to Gerard. “So uh.. We gonna go to your room or..?”

"Yeah, yeah." Gerard nodded, leading Frank through the kitchen to the basement steps. On their way through the room, Gerard's mother, Donna, stopped them.

Donna was turned away from the boy’s when she heard steps behind her. “Gerard, what do you want for supper?” She asked before turning and spotting the guest in their house, offering a pleasant smile. “And who’s your friend?”

"Mom, this is Frank, Frank, this is my mom." Gerard's voice rose slightly in pitch as he introduced the two, suddenly nervous. "I'm helping him with his algebra. And, whatever you want to make is just fine."

Frank could only manage a nervous smile and a small wave to Donna, wanting nothing more than to be in Gerard’s room and away from these people he didn’t know.
“It’s nice to meet you, Frank.” Donna replied, smiling to the younger boy before directing her attention to back to Gerard. “Frank, why don’t you go ahead down to Gerard’s room; I’ve got to speak with him a minute.” Her calm and pleasant façade was fading, easily noticed by her shift in tone.

Oh, no, this can't be good. After Frank was safely out of the kitchen, Gerard looked back to his mom. "Sorry.."

The mother’s face fell from welcoming to frustrated. “You couldn’t have texted me or something?! Let me know you were bringing a guest?! This house is a fuckin’ mess right now!”

"I know, I know, I should have and I'm sorry, mom." He sighed heavily. "I'll let you know next time, I promise."

Donna sighed in return, rubbing her temples and letting her eyes close. “Alright.. Thank you.. Dinner should be ready in an hour.”

Nodding, Gerard quickly turned and headed for the basement steps. "Good news is that I didn't get grounded, and even better news is that the only reason why she'd object to you coming over would be if the house was a wreck. Which it's not even anyway."

Frank had sat himself on Gerard’s bed with his algebra textbook. When his friend entered the bedroom his head snapped up to meet their gaze. “That’s good then. I mean, compared to my shithole of a home, your place is pristine honestly..”

Gerard snorted a bit of a laugh and took a seat beside Frank on the black bedspread. "Okay, what's first?"

Dark, dainty brows furrowed as his gaze dropped back to the book. “Well.. there’s this finding letters stuff.. What do letters even have to do with math?”

"Well, don't think of them as letters. Think of them as a quantity of something." Gerard tried to explain the best that he could.

“What do you mean quantities of something?” Frank asked, running a hand through his hair. “Show me..”

"Think of this letter as apples." He pointed to the 'x' on the page. "And this one as oranges. They're different things." He slid his finger over to the 'y'.

Slowly, the wheels began turning in his head. “So like..” He looked at the first problem on his homework assignment: 9 + 5x – 4 = 10. “Even if it doesn’t have a letter it’s still different? So the one with the ‘x’ wouldn’t go with the regular numbers?”

"Nope, it doesn't. It's a completely different thing entirely." Gerard nodded. "Do you remember how to single out the variable? And by that I mean the 'x'."

Frank pulled at his hair as he tried to think. “It was.. combine.. combining like terms?” He asked, looking rather confused. “Like you put the same things together?”

"Exactly!" The older boy grinned. "See, you're getting it!"

At Gerard’s excitement, Frank found himself smiling and hugging the other boy. “This is awesome! Thanks Gerard!” He exclaimed.

"You're welcome, man." Gerard smiled, wrapping his arms around Frank's torso. "Next problem?"

They continued through the next few problems with ease until they came across one with multiple variables, making Frank want to crawl in a hole. “I don’t want to do this anymore..”

"Aw, c'mon, Frankie, these are the last four problems and then you're done." Gerard offered. "And after that, we can do whatever you want until you're ready to leave."

With a heavy sigh, he pushed through the rest of the problems, asking now and then for assistance. When the last of the problems was done, Frank let out a quiet groan and rubbed at his aching head. “Fuckin’ finally..”

The other chuckled, and after checking over all the problems on the worksheet, smiled. "Good job, man. You're gonna get an A on this for sure." After tucking the paper in the algebra book, he tossed the book onto the floor. "So, now what?"

Before Frank could get a word in, Donna’s voice came from upstairs. “BOYS! DINNER’S READY!”
The younger boy buzzed his lips together with the breath meant to say what he wanted to do. “I guess we’d better head up, huh?”

"Yeah, probably." Gerard laughed. Standing from the bed, he started up the stairs with Frank in tow. Upstairs, the kitchen smelled of spaghetti and garlic bread.

The kitchen table was set up with four plates of the pasta, and a baking sheet with the garlic bread on it was sat in the middle of it all. Frank was actually quite shocked that the food looked so good. But then a thought crossed his mind: what if the sauce had meat in it?

"Mom, does the sauce have meat in it? 'Cause Frank is a vegetarian and I wouldn't want him to get sick."

Donna shook her head as she sat down at the table. “Nope, just straight up sauce. MIKEY! DINNER!”
A quiet sigh escaped Frank’s lips, betraying his relief. He then took the seat furthest from Donna out of fear of crowding her.

Sitting down next to Frank, Gerard picked up his fork and dug in. His mom often made meals like this for her boys, which was one of the few things that actually made them seem like a family, broken or not.
Mikey walked into the kitchen with his book still in his hands, even as he sat at the table. "Thanks, mom." The younger Way said, putting down the book and picking up his fork.

Frank had almost forgotten what this felt like, actually sitting down to dinner with people. At home, he always went up to his room with a special vegetarian sample of food for himself. But this food.. damn, was it good. He didn’t have to worry about meat or even the taste of it. “This is delicious, Ms. Way.” Frank said after he’d swallowed another bite.
“Thank you, Frank. That was very sweet.” The mother smiled, taking a drink of water before continuing to eat.

Gerard looked over to Frank, a bit of a smile on his face. Things seemed to be going so well thus far.
Once dinner was finished, both Way brothers got up to help their mom clear the table, and after having done so, Gerard told Frank to follow him back down to his room.

After dinner, Frank was full and rather tired, but the instant he stepped back into Gerard’s bedroom, his nerves spiked up. “What to do, what to do..” He sighed a bit, crossing to the older boy’s bed.

Gerard had many an idea of what he wanted to do, but only one thing came through the filter of being appropriate to say. "Sit with me?" He asked, crossing the room and plopping down in the bed.

The friend in Frank wanted to just sit next to Gerard, but the other feelings he had were starting to poison those friendly gestures. “Okay.” He replied simply, swallowing a bit as he sat next to Gerard on the bed.

The two sat there, practically in silence for nearly a minute, their hands almost touching. Gerard scooted his hand over just slightly so that their fingers touched. He looked over at Frank, a bit of a smirk on his lips.

Feeling the brush of the other’s hand against his, Frank blushed a bit and looked down at their hands. With a nervous smile back at Gerard, he moved his pinky to interlock with the other boy’s. This was the first time he’d held hands with anyone and actually meant something behind the action, and it thrilled him.

Keeping their pinkies interlocked, Gerard leaned his head on the shorter boy's shoulder. "So what do you wanna do now?"

“Well..” He was a little afraid to admit what he really wanted to do, so he settled for beating around the bush. “We never really got to finish what we were doing in the bathroom..” He punctuated his sentence with a kiss to Gerard’s head.

"True, we did not." Gerard smirked, leaning back up and pressing a kiss to the other's cheek. "Just tell me where and how, I suppose."

Still blushing, Frank leaned in to gently kiss Gerard’s lips. “I guess.. let’s just start over from the beginning..” He murmured, continuing a gentle and nervous string of kisses.

Gerard kissed back, moving his free hand to the boy's face. Each kiss grew stronger than the last until he pulled back. With a bit of blush dusting his cheeks, he looked at Frank with a look of desire. "Frank, I've never done anything like this with anyone before, but I feel like.. maybe, if you wanna that is, we can go a little further?"

All the kisses had left the younger boy nearly breathless as Gerard pulled away. Then, he gaped for a moment at the other’s confession. Really? They’d never done anything like this before with anyone? “Y-you’re not alone there..” Frank admitted shyly, dropping his gaze from the other boy’s face. “But.. I-I wouldn’t mind if it went farther..”

Hearing that Frank was as much of a virgin as he was, Gerard breathed a sigh of relief. "You mean it?" He asked, moving in a bit closer.

Taking a chance, the freshman placed a hand on Gerard’s thigh as they scooted close. “Yeah.. I do.” He replied, smiling at the other boy.

With that, Gerard pressed another firm, passionate kiss to Frank's lips. He then worked down to his neck as his fingers played at the other's shirt. He had no idea what he was doing, but something was telling him that he needed Frank to be without a shirt so he could kiss and worship every last inch of the other's chest and stomach.

Frank was hesitant at first with the teasing at the bottom of his hooded sweatshirt and school uniform, but soon enough, he broke from the kiss to pull his hoodie over his head and began to loosen the tie on his school uniform.

Helping Frank with his tie, Gerard then tossed it to the floor. Next came the blazer, then the buttons of the white dress shirt that was beneath it. "Jeez, you wear so many layers." Gerard laughed quietly once Frank's chest was entirely bare.

“You’re wearing pretty much the same thing..” He muttered, blushing all the way down his neck now that he was exposed. With a slight smirk, he pulled Gerard closer by the tie around his neck. “Do I get to undress you now?”

And then his already pale face grew ten shades lighter. "Er.." He shook his head, trying to get rid of the shock that was plastered to his features. "S-sure."
When the colour drained from the other boy’s face, Frank felt his own smirk fade. “We don’t have to.. if you’re uncomfortable with something, you can tell me, and I’ll do the same for you..” He didn’t want to force anything on his new lover, lest he lose their trust.

"No, no, we can. I'm just.. self conscious." He tried to reassure the other. "But, I trust you. We can do this."

Frank’s green eyes searched Gerard’s face for any sign of cold feet before letting his hand work at loosening the tie. “If you get too nervous, you /can/ tell me to stop..” He said quietly, locking stares with the older boy.

"I know, Frankie." Gerard smiled, starting to take off his black blazer.

A warm smile traced Frank’s lips as he continued to loosen the tie, eventually slipping it off Gerard’s neck and working at the buttons to the white dress shirt. One thing that he found almost amusing was how pale they both were. It was painfully obvious how much both of them hated being outside.

Once Gerard was stripped of his shirt, he exhaled shakily. The only other person to see him shirtless at this age was his brother, and that was just because he was walking back from a shower.
"Please don't laugh.." He muttered quietly. "I know I've got stretch marks and stuff.."

“Why would I laugh?” Frank asked with a genuine tone, running his fingers delicately over the scars on the other’s stomach. “I think it just shows that you have a story, and that to me is pretty normal.” He smiled softly, hoping to reassure the older boy.

Gerard looked to Frank with a bit of a smile starting to play at his lips. "Thank you.." He then leaned in to press a soft kiss to the other's cheek.

Before Gerard could back away too far, Frank placed a hand on his cheek and pulled him back for another passionate kiss. His hand that was tracing the scars moved up the other boy’s chest as they kissed, resting there lightly.

He kissed back as one hand went up to go through the boy's hair. "Mmmh.." He sighed, unable to hold the noise back.

Frank’s brows furrowed with intensity as the kiss continued, the hand holding Gerard’s face moving back to hold the back of their neck. With a similar sigh, his tongue snuck out from between his lips to gingerly press against Gerard’s, an action that politely requested entrance.

Allowing Frank to enter his mouth, Gerard's free hand started to push him back onto the bed.

He put up no fight as he fell to the bed, never breaking their kiss. By now, his heart was racing and his face and neck were flushed brightly.

Gerard's tongue rolled with Frank's as he rest himself between the smaller boy's legs. What the hell was he doing? What if someone came downstairs? It didn't matter, though, as Gerard's body conformed to Frank's own.

Feeling Gerard on top of him, pressing his body into the mattress, Frank couldn’t help the needy whimper that escaped into their kiss. Though the kiss was a delicious distraction from his quickly growing arousal, he needed to break from it to catch his breath, and he did so rather reluctantly, turning his nails against the older boy’s back with another soft whimper.

Pulling away so that he may catch his breath as well, Gerard looked into Frank's eyes. "You're a really good kisser." He commented, his face and ears flushed a bright red.

Frank felt himself blush just a shade lighter at the other’s compliment, leading him to bashfully turn his face away. “Y-you’re good, too.. Better than me I think..”

A nervous chuckle escaped the older boy as he leaned down to press a kiss to Frank's forehead. "You think so..?"

“Yeah..” Frank replied shyly, running a shaky hand through his hair. “I mean.. Your lips are really soft and stuff.. and I can’t help but think my piercing feels weird on the receiving end.. so you being able to put up with that is pretty fuckin’ cool.” In moments like these, he wasn’t quite sure when to stop talking, and so on he rambled in a nervous patter.

"Shhh," Gerard giggled. "I love the piercing." He leaned down and kissed the other softly, then started to move down his neck and to his chest. One of his hands rest on the left side of Frank's chest while his lips kissed at the right.

Green eyes fluttered closed again as the kiss was placed to his moving lips. All he was able to offer was a quiet “Mm-hm..” while Gerard started to kiss down his exposed flesh. His heart seemed to acknowledge that Gerard’s hand was resting atop it, as it started to race again from the attentions given to his chest.

Gerard continued to work downward, stopping just above the boy's navel. "Can I?" He asked, leaning up as his hand hovered over Frank's clothed crotch.

There was a bit of excited shock on Frank’s face as he noticed the placement of Gerard’s hand. With another bright blush, he bit his lip and nodded, not trusting his voice.

With Frank's permission, he brought his hand down and started to rub along the other's length with his palm. Gerard was slightly surprised with just how hard Frank had grown to be, and even more surprised when he felt the other twitch in his hand.

Frank let a shaky exhalation pass his lips the moment he felt the other’s touch on his length, his hands clenching the black bedspread beneath him. He kept his lip bitten, hoping to stay as quiet as possible.. even if his body was begging for more of that touch..

Continuing to palm Frank's member through his pants, Gerard smiled as he heard the whimpers and slight gasps coming from the boy's throat. Whatever it was that he was doing, he was apparently doing a good job of it.

Upstairs, Donna had noticed the time and began to worry about Frank and Gerard. She assumed that his parents would want him home at some point tonight, so to ask like a good mother would, she started to head for the basement. What she found there, however, was more than she could ever have possibly prepared for. “Gerard, is your friend stay—WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!”

At the sound of his mother's voice, Gerard leapt away from Frank and fell back onto the floor. "MOM!" He nearly shouted, his heart thumping in his throat. "N-Nothing!"

Frank yelped at Donna’s voice, quickly grabbing two pillows to shield his blushing face and tented trousers from the older woman. He also let out a long, embarrassed squeak into the pillow case.. What a way to end the night..
Donna was shocked; not exactly angry or frustrated, just unsure of how to handle this situation. “You.. weren’t you supposed to be helping him with homework or something?!”

"We got it done early!" Gerard chirped, happy that his lower half was concealed by the bed.

The mother Way’s mouth still hung slightly open as she tried to come up with /anything/ to say in return. Finding nothing, she shut her eyes and rubbed her temples. “Frank.. unless your parents know what you’re planning on doing tonight, I’d suggest letting them know or going home.. You boys.. just..” She shook her head and sighed as she exited Gerard’s room.

Once Donna had left the room, Gerard looked at Frank with widened eyes. "That.. That was close." He exhaled, not realizing that he had been holding his breath throughout the ordeal. "You should probably call your mom if you want to stay over. If not I can walk you home?"

Frank swallowed hard as he removed the pillow covering his face. “N-nah.. I think I might just walk home since it’s close.. but you should like.. give me your number or something.” He replied, smiling nervously.

Saddened that Frank didn't want to stay over, Gerard pursed his lips momentarily before speaking. "Alright. Lemme grab some paper and a pen."

He sat up slowly, not removing the pillow from his lap as he ran his hands through his hair. Part of him did want to stay over, but the rest just didn’t feel ready for that yet. At least with Gerard’s number, he could continue texting him through the night.

Scribbling down his phone number quickly, Gerard then turned and handed the piece of sketchbook paper to Frank. "I'll have my phone on me all night, so call or text whenever."

Frank smiled down at the paper, looking down at the numbers with a certain fondness. “I will, too.” He said, slipping off the bed to fetch his clothes. Before he got to where his shirt was, he leaned down to kiss Gerard again. “Thank you, Gerard.. for everything tonight.”

"No problem, man." Gerard attempted a smile. "I'll see you at school tomorrow though, alright?"

“Of course you will.” Frank promised with a smile before going to dress his top half. “We can walk together again in the morning.”

"Sounds like a plan." He grinned. Though he was saddened by Frank's departure, knowing that he'd see him again in the morning was good enough for now.

Leaving his tie undone, he pulled his hoodie over his head and ruffled his hair back into place. Then, the boy turned back to Gerard, throwing his arms around the taller boy in a lingering embrace.

Wrapping his arms around the smaller male, Gerard rested his chin on Frank's head. "Let me at least walk you through my house?"

“Think we’ll be able to dodge your mom?” He asked, nuzzling a bit under Gerard’s chin. He didn’t want to face the woman again.. at least not tonight.

"She's probably in her room by now. We should be in the clear." He chuckled. "But, we won't know until we get up there, now will we?"

Frank pouted a bit at the other’s answer but still sighed in agreement. “I guess you’re right..” He moved to grab up his backpack and algebra textbook before interlocking his and Gerard’s pinkies again with a soft smile.

The pair walked from the basement up the stairs and into the kitchen. Luckily for Frank, Donna was nowhere in sight. "She's in her bedroom." Gerard exhaled. "You're good."

The younger boy nodded and kept his pinky finger wound with Gerard’s as he was led to the door. A bit of guilt still gnawed at the back of his mind for not staying over, but he figured the older boy would understand if he wasn’t quite ready for that. When they reached the door, Frank turned and captured Gerard’s lips in another lingering kiss.

While the two shared one final kiss of the evening, the younger Way had been sitting on the couch watching a movie before bed. "Er, guys..?"

Frank broke the kiss with a quiet gasp, flushing bright red. “H-hey Mikey..”

His own face starting to turn red with embarrassment that he'd witnessed the situation, Mikey offered an awkward smile and nod. To break the silence, the older brother interjected.
"Goodnight, Frankie." Gerard leaned over, pecking the other on the cheek before showing him out the door.

Before he could embarrass himself further, Frank nearly sprinted home, dodging a rather mean dog on the way with a yelp. When he was safe inside his house, he marched up to his room and buried his face in his mattress. He was burning inside to go back to Gerard’s, find a way to sneak into the boy’s room and spend the night wrapped in his arms. But, he supposed he’d just try the method he knew would work. Pulling out the sketchbook paper with Gerard’s number on it from his hoodie pocket, he put the number in his phone and sent a simple text: “Made it home”

"Oh thank god.." Gerard texted back, pressing the send button then laying back in his bed with a sigh of relief. The entire time since Frank had left his doorstep, the older of the two had been pacing around his house until he finally decided to go check his phone.

Frank chuckled a little at the returned text, finishing changing into his pajama pants. When he was done with that, he flopped onto his bed and replied to the text. “Get a little worried?”

"A bit yeah. Didn't want you to get eaten by a dog or something."

“Well, no worries. I’m currently safe and warm in my pjs.”

"Good. I should probably change, too. I I'm still in my uniform. :P"

“You should.. and then send me pictures ;)”

"U sure about that? ;P"

At the teasing reply, Frank had to think it over, chewing his lip and blushing. Then, with a bit of a chuckle, he took a picture of his shirtless abdomen and pj pants. He only sent a “Yes -u-“ with the picture.

After reading the text, Gerard quickly changed into a pair of batman pajama pants and sat down on his bed. After laying back, he brought up the camera on his phone and snapped a pic of his crossed legs. "Heheh." He typed after the picture sent.

“You like Batman, too? :O”

"Yeah! OvO"

“DUDE HE’S LIKE MY FAVOURITE SUPER HERO”

"ME TOO!! AHHH"

“I’m totally wearing my Batman socks tomorrow to school! :D”

"I'll wear a Batman shirt then! :DDD" He then snapped a pic of his chest. "Have my manly pecs ;D"

“Still just as beautiful as when I first saw them ;P” Frank yawned as he finished that text message, making him send another. “Im gettin a lil tired”

"Go to bed babe. I'm headed that way, too."

“Goodnight Gerard :*”

"Night Frankie <3”

Frank smiled at the returned text before hooking it up to his charger and slipping off to Gerard-filled dreams.

After making sure that Frank wasn't sending another message, Gerard tossed his phone over by his messenger bag. After making sure he had everything needed for tomorrow at school, his uniform, socks, shoes, and the batman shirt that went under his dress shirt, and tie, he crawled back into bed and drifted off to sleep.
