Gerard's pov

Great just another day in hell or in other words 'school'! Honestly I don't see the point in going, all the teachers are so boring (well apart from my art teacher who seems to love his job) this makes all my classes boring.
One of the main reasons i drag myself to school is so I can see Ray.

Ray Toro is my only true friend. he is so cheerful and kind and he always tries to cheer me up. He has a huge brown afro which I tease him about telling him it will so eat us all! Although I don't think he would suite really short/bald hair. But the main words I would use to sum him up would be..

Mikey came through my door at the same time i reached for my home to check if I was getting up
"Gerard get up, you'll make us late"
"Yes mom.." With that he jokingly smirked and walked out.

I drag myself up and head to my mirror, song the (very short) way I grabbed up my eye liner and my clothes. I looked myself up and down and sighed. I wasn't the most positive about my appearance, I hated most of my body which was why I hid most of it under clothes. My black hair fell in front of my face breaking my stare and with that I pulled off my pyjamas and put on my smashing pumpkin shirt and my plain black hoodie along with my skinny jeans, and I put on my eye liner and headed down stairs to see Mikey.
"Hey Mikes" I walked up to him cheerfully. (I may as well start the day of cheerfully)
"Hey Gerard" Mikey passes me a piece of toast that he must of made while i was getting ready.
"Oh thanks!! I presume you didn't stick the fork in the toaster again?!" I laughed looking at him jokingly
"No I didn't, I learned my lesson last time!"
I chuckle and get my school stuff, and we head out the door.
Luckily school wasn't to far away so it only took 5 minutes to get there. I see Ray waiting around like he always does. I waved Mikey goodbye and went to join him
"Hey Ray" I soon as i reached him we started heading to my locker.
"Hey Gerard!" Ray seemed awfully cheerful today, (Not that he usually isn't but today he was more happy then usual)
"Why are you so heppy and cheerful?"
"I saw a new guy and I'm pretty sure he is in some of our classes!"
"and why are you so happy about this?"
"Well you never know you might find him cute! And well I was just thinking about you and you very limited love affairs recently."
By this time we had reached my locker. I gave Ray a very sarcastic smile and walked off to my home room.

As usual I was the first one in so I sat in the back corner..again.. I pulled out my sketch book and continued on a drawing I had started yesterday. I heard foot steps behind me which was strange since everyone else in my class waited until the bell to head to class. I didn't turn around because it didn't bother me too much.

It felt like hours passed but in reality it was only about 5 seconds until the unknown human behind me sat down. I could feel his eyes on my and i couldn't help but take a quick look over at him.
When I did look over I managed to figure out that it was a boy, and a cute one at that. But I didn't know him. we made eye contacted for a second and he turned away. I could tell he was blushing which made me blush.

Could this be the new boy Ray was talking about?? Because he was right, he was damn cute!!
