Paper Amour

Most people don't understand the power that dwells in the littlest of things. For example, a simple smile could have such an impact on someone's life, and no one would know, no one would even begin to understand. For someone else, it could be a song, and that song could save their life, and no one would know, no one would even begin to understand.
For Gerard Way, a shy, and rather awkward high school student with very few friends, it was a fountain pen. Gerard had no idea of the power behind the pen when he found it, or the disaster and magic it would bring, but it was because of this pen that he found his fantasy. The pen changed his life forever, and this is exactly the type of small, and simple thing that people would not ever understand.
For Frank Iero, the prince of Brayvenwood, an alternative universe to the real world, and the biggest disappointment of his father's life, it was the need for approval. The desire to show to his worth to his father, created a journey. A mission to find a way to impress the man who had neglected him his entire life, a mission to find the pen of the councils wizard, for ever since it went missing, everything has been going wrong.
How could a pen have so much effect on something? Well, a pen is the perfect weapon. Anyone can use it with the right state of mind. With a few strokes of a pen, you can smite a dragon, or make two people fall in love. A pen can do anything, and everything that the user wills it to do, and all it needs is a bit of ink, and a steady hand to use it. A pen is the most powerful, and the most simple weapon that a person could wield.
