I'm so far away from you

Gerard, Ray and I all sit in the hospital waiting room, waiting.. well obviously.
"So why does she deserve it?" I ask Ray
"Well for starters she randomly kissed you.."
Gerard growls a bit under his breathe.
"And secondly we used to go out like boyfriend and girlfriend, but she always used to cheat on me, I gave endless second chances until they became 20th chances"
"Haha" I laugh
"When soon I had enough and broke up with her. She still calls me when she can't get laid on nights, but I just ignore the phone now."
"Wow what a whore!"
"Yeh I know" Ray laughs.
A muscular blonde doctor walks into the room with a policeman beside him.
"That's him, the one who almost killed her" the doctor points at Gee.
Gerard's eyes fill up, I hold his hand.
"Is this your first offence young sir?" The police man asks
Gerard looks at me then back at the police man, "Um, yes sir it is" he lies. I never quite knew what Gerard did but I hope to find out in the future, if he lets me.
"Well, since this is your first offence, I'll let you off this time but if anything like this happens again you know the consequences.."
Gerard nods.
"Maybe you should go to anger management classes buddy, you err.. seem a little unstable." The doctor points out.
"Yeh. Maybe I should" Gerard says looking down at his hands as he fiddles with them.
"Okay you can go home now" The police man says, "I'm guessing you don't really want to see Laina"
"Nope" Gerard says bluntly, grabbing my hand and dragging me outside.
"Do you guys need a ride back home?" Ray asks.
"Yes please!" I answer.
"Cool, and you Gerard?"
"Yeh"
"Gee, wanna come for a sleep over tonight?" I ask hopefully
"Okay, yeh I'd love to Frankie" he smiles at me showing his tiny white teeth.
Ray unlocks his silver fiesta and lets me and Gerard climb in.
"So where's your house Frank?"
"Just down St Stevens road, straight on, then left then a right then a left then a right then straight on.." I reply
"Hm okay well I'll try to remember that, but will you be the satnav, Frank if we get lost?"
"Yep" I giggle.

We drive for a short time until we arrive outside my house.
"This it?"
"Yep, thanks Ray!" I say hopping out the car with Gerard behind me.
"Okay bye!" Ray waves,
"Bye!"

"So do you wanna call your Mum to tell her you're sleeping here tonight?" I ask rhetorically
"No."
"What why not? Gerard you have to!"
"She wants rid of me anyway, I think she'd be happy if I left"
"Come on Gee just call her."
"Okay fine."
