Gerard's POV

"MOM!" I bolt down the stairs into the kitchen to smell the smoke of the oven burning the potatoes.
It happened again mom was in the shower letting the food cook and forgetting that she left the oven or the stove on,
its funny... but not when the house smells like its been burned down to its core.
"honey it's fine i'll fix it up, go back to your room" she sighed as I dragged myself back up
into my room and finally falling on my bed.
I stopped to remember that the weekend will be over tomorrow, Monday awaits me and so does hell, pardon me I mean school.

I rolled over reaching for my phone and then sighed, a text from... Pete? what does he want now he has been bugging me all day, I rolled my eyes to read 'GERARD COME TO MY HOUSE ASAP THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!' I wonder what happened clearly somethings wrong,
i slide on a jacket and pace down the stairs "i'll be back later" calling out to mom opening the front door and slamming it closed then hearing her scream at me.
People in their flashy cars are looking at me while i'm stressing out for Pete.
Almost there just gotta turn this corner.

I open the front gate and hop up the few steps,
"knock knock knock" I wait for someone to invite me in "COMING" I hear Pete coming to the door "hi!" hi? is that all " whats the problem?" I ask longing for an answer while watching pete struggle to put his shirt on
"just go to my room we can talk I don't need mum to hear" he whispered, so I went in the house and straight into his room.
Straight is exactly what Pete is petes bi (bisexual) and he only told me a few weeks ago,
I told him I was gay around about 2 years ago.

Noticing the new posters he has on his grey walls he taps me on the shoulder "ok so here's the thing, theres a new boy at our school i'm not sure his name yet but if he is hot i dibs ok?"
Obviously pete would say that why wouldn't he? He's almost as horny as my brother mikey,
"seriously Pete tone it down a little" I comment thinking he had something wrong then him mocking me and then to finish it by pulling a face sticking his tongue out.

hmmm I just realised, if I trick pete into trading him having dibs for me to tell him the new boys name and if he is hot I can win get dibs, my master plan mwahaha "hey pete" I smirk "I know the new boys name"
"WHAT IS IT YOU GOTTA TELL ME" yep that worked,
"i"ll tell you if you let me have 1st dibs if he's hot" I smile seeing the envy on Pete's face now lets hope this works "ugh fine deal you win this time" he sighs waiting for me to tell him "i'm pretty sure it's Frank" pete's jaw drops for some reason, at this moment i'm confused
"i know a frank! he said he was moving somewhere but didn"t say where it might even be him"
"is he hot orr?" I add shaking my head.
