Children Surrender

We finished dinner and were sent into the living room.it had one of those couches thay like turned a corner. I sat at the edge of the smallest section. Gerard sat beside me and cc and johnnie sat at the other section of the couch.
"Okay so the reason your here is because youre casters. Your siblings werent however. A caster is someone who can control something. Examples would be air water light earth animals reading minds fire. There is much more that they can do. Tomorrow we work on learning what your powers are but I already have an idea of what each of you are."
"You expect us to believe tha.."
"Cc speak for you self because I beleive it. I always thought there was something different about me. And this just seems to make sense." gerard said. I was shocked with that. I honeslty dont know what to beleive.
"You are all to go to your rooms and unpack. Johnnie show frank the way to yours."
"Yes ma'am." We all get upand I follow johnnie down stairs. Yes our room is in the basment. Its pretty nice. We start unpacking and its kind of an awkward silence when I decide to ask him something.
"So, I honestly dont know what to think about all of this. how about you?"
"I know its true."
"How is that?" I look at him and lean against the wall where I was hanging a poster.
"Because my mom didnt beleive in keeping secrets. She told me. I already kmow I can control nature. also clara left out the fact that we can do spells and make potions. My mom taught me everything."
"Cool, well I guess it must be true than."
"Yeah, by the way your water. CC is light amd gerard is fire."
"How do you know?"
"Clairvoyance. I went into claras head and thats what she thinks you have."
"Oh. Okay." We go back to a little less awkward silence. I soon finish packing and lay on my bed. I just stair at the ceiling. I guess I fell asleep because I was woken up by screaming. I look around to see johnnie screaming and rolling around on his bed. He must be having a nightmare. I walk over and shake him.
"Johnnie wake up. JOHNNIE WAKE UP YOUR HAVING A NIGHTMARE." He wake in a startle and starts crying. I start to hug him "your okay it was just a nightmare." After a couple hours he calms down. It is now six a.m. and we should go back to bed. I start to get up.
"No, please dont leave."
"Im just going to be on the other end of the room. If you dont want to sleep alone. My bed is bigger we can go over there and sleep."
"Okay." We both get up and sleep on my bed. We don't cuddle or amyThing. We just kind of lay near each other. I think he only needed someone to be near him.
