Ray and I had been driving for five hours. Not that we wanted it to take that long, we kept finding notes from Gerard. Soon enough there was a pile of paper in the back of the truck, Ray and I hadn't talked much since we got into Indiana and I was looking around bored. I looked at the tank
"Ray, we're going to need to stop and get gas"
"I know, there is a gas station in a couple miles"
We drove for three miles before we stopped at an ancient looking gas station, I thought it was closed or abadonned, but sure enough there was a sign inside the building that blared Open
"Zee go check if they got any snacks while I fill 'er up"
"'Kay"
I walked out of the car and walked into the small building, when I walked through the door and saw no one but a dusty floor and empty shelves,
"Bummer" I thought sadly
I started turning towards the door when I saw a piece of paper laying neatly on the counter. Curiosity filled my head as I walked towards the paper I flipped it over and read the note
Mind your head girlie,
Love Gerard
"Mind my head?" I thought
Then a horrible image reeled through my head
"Ray!" I screamed
I ran outside and didn't see Ray,
"Ray?"
"Owwww" I heard him moan
I ran to the other side of the truck and saw Ray laying flat on his face with a bloody bruise on top of his head, I turned him on his back and asked
"Ray what the hell happened?"
"Be-Behind you" he stammered
I turned only to see Mikey lift a wrench at my forehead
"Fuck" I mumbled
A searing pain hit me in the forhead and I fell into blackness.

Sorry I didn't update yesterday and the worst of it is I made a short chapter with a cliffhangar! Don't be mad at me :(
