Being Crazy Just Means You're Special
It Has Been Three Months
I opened my eyes to the eerily light room, three months ago I would've been freaked out by the fact I was laying in a white room with nothing but a cot and a small window, but I was used to it since I had been waking up in the same place for three months now
"They're letting me out today! I can't wait to see Ray!" I thought happily as I pulled on my jeans and "The Losers Win Again" Shirt
You're probally wondering what I'm doing in a mental hospital, well I'll start with my name, I'm Zee. I'm another Gothic weirdo that you'll find hanging out in coffee shops or at Hot Topic finding band t-shirts. But I'm not like every Gothic girl, excactly three months ago I was kidnapped by a crazy man named Gerard and taken away for two weeks. The guy who saved me from Gerard was named Ray Toro, who is now my boyfriend, and well you can say right when I got home I suffered from anxiety, believing the subsitute teacher was Gerard, I tackled him to the ground only to find he wasn't. But it only got worse, I started seeing him everywhere, I even sent a man to the hospital with a broken arm, my parents grew worried and Ray even more so, so my mother drove me up to the Allegan County Mental Institution and left me there for three months. Finally I passed the test that proved I wasn't crazy and they were letting me go home
"Alright, Zee it's time to go home" called my counsler
"Coming!" I yelled as I packed up the rest of my things
"Your parents didn't come but someone else did, I hope that's okay"
"Yeah that's fine" I double crossed my fingers in hope it was Ray
The counsler nodded as he walked me through the halls, every door had someone who needed true help. They were running around flapping their arms like wings, some were banging on the windows begging to be released, and a couple were sitting in their rooms talking to someone who wasn't there
"Yes, this place can be a little saddening sometimes" The counsler said as if reading my thoughts "But some of those people are just like you, suffering from anxiety"
"Yeah, just like me" I whispered as we entered the lobby
A familair afro rose above all the other people
"Zee!" Ray shouted as he swam through the mob of people in the lobby
He finally reached me and hugged me lifting me off my feet
"Alright Zee, I hope you have a safe trip back home!" shouted Counsler
"Don't worry I will!" I yelled back as Ray and me left the hospital
"You ready to go home?" Ray asked quietly as we jumped into the car
"Yeah, it's been three months since I've seen you, mom, or dad"
"Three months of painful waiting" He replied as he kissed my forhead
"They're letting me out today! I can't wait to see Ray!" I thought happily as I pulled on my jeans and "The Losers Win Again" Shirt
