My Paranormal Bromance
Chapter 5: It's All About Me
*Time Stamp: August 5th, 1998. 3:00 pm (post meridiem)*
*Location: The Funeral Home*
I felt as if someone was standing next to me in the rain, but Gerard was stuck to Bert's side, Mitch was on the other side of the hole, watching Vic and Andy like a hawk. They stood a couple feet from me. Spencer, Patrick, and Frank were standing by Mitch. Patrick was trying to hide from the rain by standing under Spencer's arm, which was rested on the shorter boy's head.
Caroline was giving the eulogy for her dead son, and her ex-husband Daniel stood behind her, his lips pressed in a thin frown. His son, and Gerard's half brother, Kellin, stood behind his father, staring at Vic, who was staring awkwardly back.
Vic started giggling when Kellin crossed his eyes and stuck his tongue out, acting like a total idiot. Everyone turned and glared at Vic for laughing, and the boy shrunk up into Andy's side. Andy was glaring daggers at Kellin.
Kellin simply kept making faces, and VIc was stifling laughter.
Andy looked like he was about to kill someone, and Mitch, he on the other hand, looked like he was on the top of the fucking world...
Daniel turned around and slapped Kellin. The sound resounded in the area, and Kellin stumbled backwards, falling into the wet grass.
Everyone stopped, "Daniel! That isn't okay!" Caroline shrieked, running over to Kellin, who lay their, stunned. Daniel's ring had opened a cut on his son's cheek, that I could clearly see as Caroline helped the boy to his feet.
Patrick was scared, it was obvious as he clung to Spencer desperately.
Everything was deafeningly silent. Even the rain had stopped falling. Kellin slowly walked over to me for some reason, and paused by my side.
And then Caroline returned to the podium to continue to eulogy.
"Are you okay man?" I whispered.
Kellin nodded, "Yes, I'm fine." He gingerly touched the cut on his face, and looked at the blood on his fingers, turning even more pale then he already was. "You don't look okay..." I commented. He shook his head, "I just don't like blood."
And then a hand was pressing something to Kellin's cheek. I followed the arm to see that it was Vic who was holding a tissue to the cut. Kellin was staring past Vic, and I followed his gaze to see that Andy's face had turned red, and he looked furious, but it also looked like he was trying to keep calm.
He wasn't doing a very good job. His hands were balled into fist.
"What's his problem?" Kellin muttered. I shrugged, and Vic just sighed, "Here, Caroline asked me to take you to clean the cut.. I'm Vic, by the way..." grabbed Kellin's wrist, and began to lead him towards Mitch's car.
"I'm Kellin." I heard the bleeding boy introduce before they were out of earshot.
Andy glared after them the whole time, until the were out of view.

*Location: The Funeral Home*
This funeral was boring as hell, everyone was quiet, and Caroline was talking really slowly. Rain was pouring down on our sad little affair. The only upside about this even was that there was a very attractive boy here, but he was clinging to the side of a very frightening looking man. I resulted in making faces at him.
He giggled, and it was the cutest sound I have EVER heard. Everyone turned and glared at him, and I smiled apologetically at him. He clung even tighter to the other man, who was now glaring at me. I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.
A few minutes later, I began to make faces, and the boy was stifling his laughter. I lifted my hands to my face, and pulled down at my cheeks, sticking my tongue out, and he made a little snorting sound. I dropped my hands, and then I was in a world of pain.
The sound of Daniel, my dad, slapping me with all of his force rung out clearly as I stumbled backwards, and fell to the soggy ground, my hands shooting back up to my face to cover where he had hit me.
Everyone fell silent, and stared at Daniel, "Daniel! That isn't okay!" Caroline shrieked, running over to me.
The rain had stopped falling, and everything was completely silent. I lay there stunned, until Caroline yanked my hands away from my face, and pulled me to my feet. I looked at my hand, and saw that it was covered in blood.
Oh no oh no oh no, shit I was bleeding! I really hate blood.
I felt my stomach turn as it threatened to push up the disgusting lunch I had eaten before coming here. It remained silent until I slowly crossed the grass to stand by the frizzy haired boy, who's fro had become even frizzier because of the rain.
"Are you okay man?" It took me a moment to realize that the boy was talking to me. I nodded slowly, and gingerly lifted my fingers to my face, "Yes, I'm fine." It took all my will to not flinch when I touched the cut. I'm not great with pain. I pulled my fingers back and I could feel myself going pale.
"You don't look okay..." They boy pointed out.
"I just really don't like blood." I told him.
And then someone was touching my face. I almost jerked away, when I saw that it was the boy I had been making faces at earlier. "Sorry." He mouthed at me, but I was staring past him now, at his friend, who looked like he was about to kill a bitch.
"What's his problem..?" I asked no one in particular. The frizzy haired boy just shrugged, and the cute boy sighed.
"Here, Caroline asked me to take you to clean the cut.. I'm Vic, by the way..." The boy spoke. Vic... I liked that name. Before I could respond he grabbed my wrist and was leading me away through the grass.
"I'm Kellin." I introduced, getting nervous all of the sudden. I glanced back to see the other boy glaring after us, not the frizzy haired one, but the one that Vic had been holding on to. "Who is that?" I asked him.
"Who?"
"The one who's sending death threats at me with his eyes."
"That's my friend Andy. He's just a bit overprotective."
"Oh."
I didn't know what else to say.
We turned the corner, and I felt safe, now that Andy wasn't playing "lets-burn-holes-in-kellins-soul-with-angry-glares" anymore.
Vic lead me to a black truck, and he unlocked it. "Get in, we have some medical supplies in the glove compartment." He told me.
I climbed up into the truck, and offered my hand to him. He grabbed it, and I helped him up into the truck, pulling a little bit too hard. He ended up coming jolting towards me, causing me to fall back onto the leather seats, he landed on top of me.
I coughed awkwardly, and stared up into his face. "Sorry." We said in unison, "No, it was my fault." We said in unison once more. We both laughed, and he awkwardly climbed off of me. I sat up , and he got on his knees in front of the glove compartment to pull out a first aid kit, then he joined me on the seat.
He carefully applied antibiotics the gash on my cheek, and then put a butterfly band-aid over it. His hand lingered on my cheek.
My flirting must have worked or something.
I rested my forehead against his, and we just sat there for a moment, before HE kissed ME! I felt my heart speed up a little, and my face got red.
It took me a moment but I kissed back, gently putting my hands on his waist.
His free hand rested on the back of my neck, while the hand that had remained on my cheek moved up to my hair.
I watched him close his eyes, and let mine slide shut as well, and I lay down, tugging him with me. He came willingly, and he pulled my hair a little. In response I let out a tiny moan, and slipped my hands up his shirt. I heard him gasp a little.
And then there was a growl, and a scream full of hurt and betrayal. "VIC?!"
We jerked away from each other, and I saw all the color rush from Vic's faced as he looked over at the boy who had been killing me wit his eyes earlier. "Andy..." He breathed, "I..." He was cut off by Andy.
"Don't..." The boy just shook his head, before turning around. He had this look in his face when he turned around like he had just been stabbed in the heart. I almost felt bad for letting him walk away. Vic just stared after him, mouth open. He kind of looked like a dead fish.
"What..?" I began.
Vic looked at me, frowning, he looked like he was about to cry, "Andy is my boyfriend." He muttered, "Or he was..."
"Oh god... I'm so sorry..." I said.
"Don't be..." He choked, "It was my fault. I kissed you, not the other way around." He was chewing on his bottom lip, and I could see blood trickle down the corner of his mouth. "I should be the one apologizing..." He added.

*Location: The Parking Lot*
Caroline had sent me to go check on Kellin and Vic since they were taking forever. They had been gone for fifteen minutes or so.
I waked out to the parking lot with my hands shoved in my pockets. I scanned the parking lot for Mitch's black pickup.
Once I found it, I made my way across the parking lot. They had left the door open, and the sight that greeted me, made me feel like I had just been punched in the gut. The little gasp that the boy had extracted from MY baby made me growl, "VIC?!" My voice was full of betrayal, and hurt. I felt like I was about to cry.
They jerked away from each other. Vic stared at me, mouth agape for a moment, "Andy... I..." He began but I shook my head, "Don't..." And then I walked away, feeling like I had been just stabbed in the fucking heart.
As soon as I turned the corner I ran back to the reception. "They're more then fine." I growled to Caroline. Mitch looked at me skeptically, and I stalked over to him, "I hope your happy. You're little brother and I wont see each other again. I can promise you that."
I turned to walk away, but he grabbed my wrist. "What do you mean?" He asked.
I opened my mouth to speak, but Vic and Kellin were returning. Vic was running at full speed towards Mitch and I, and Kellin was struggling to keep up.
Vic stopped in front of me, and took a moment to catch his breath, "Andy, I'm sorry it was a-" He was cut off when Kellin cut in, "all Kellin's fault. It was my fault." He wheezed. Vic stared back at him. "I kissed him, it was my fault."
"So be it, but he still kissed you back." I retorted.
Kellin shook his head, "No he wasn't. He was trying to get away, that's why he was pulling my hair." He responded. "I'm just a bit dominate."
I didn't know if I should believe the boy.
"Just don't come near me, either of you." I said.
Vic frowned, and whimpered before shuffling away.
"So that's what happened." Mitch mused as Kellin walked back over to Daniel.
Notes
Poor Andy ;-; *Hugs Andy possessively* I'm sorry my baby.
I feel really mean, really sad, and really happy all at the same time.
Do you think Andy should forgive Vic, or should he shun VIc, and as a result Vic goes to Kellin?
Comment, rate, subscribe, and all that nice stuff!
Also, any BVB fans, you'd be doing me a HUGE favor by checking this out, because I'm really liking the idea, and the character but it seems that very few people like it!
