My Paranormal Bromance

Prologue: The Way Things Once Were

*Mikey's Point of View*
*Time Stamp: April 22nd, 1996. 9:05 pm (post meridiem)*
*Location: The Way Household*

We all sat around in the living room, three pizzas on hand, and several large bottles of mountain dew. I had Frank on my lap, Gerard was leaning up against Ray, Mitch was trying to get Vic to stop drinking the mountain dew, and Andy was watching the fourteen year old with loving eyes. Patrick was being his awkward self, sitting behind me, hiding like the child he was. Oh, and Spencer was there too. He was braiding Andy's long hair for some reason.
I should say, Gerard is my older brother, my name is Mikey Way. My best friend is sitting in my lap, he is Frank Iero. Patrick Stump is my other friend, he is a shy, awkward boy, and he's twelve, soon turning thirteen. Gerard's friends are Mitch, his counterpart (they aren't dating, they just don't go anywhere without each other) Andy, and his little brother Vic. There is a story behind that.
My brother, and our friends, and I did this every Friday night. We all got together, got a bunch of soda and pizzas, and watched really crappy horror movies. It was really fun, and it was the only time that all of us got to hang out in one place.
Today we were watching "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"

And then suddenly Vic was sprawling across the room, crashing into Andy causing a loud bang as the both fell. Mitch was shouting at him to give up the soda, rather loudly. "Vic! Give me the fucking bottle!"
Our mom came running downstairs as Vic and Andy were trying to detangle themselves from each other. The boys were rather flustered, and they were both blushing furiously. "What is going on down here! Mitch, sit down and stop shouting at Vic! He's fourteen, let him have his soda!" She demanded.
"Yes, Ms. Way..." Mitch muttered indignantly before dropping into a sitting position right where he was standing. Vic stuck his tongue out at Mitch, but Andy slapped him, "You're a child, but that doesn't mean you have to act like one." The older boy scolded.

Vic slunk away and sat in Mitch's lap. Mitch hugged his little brother tightly to him, "Andy, don't make him sad." Mitch snapped, ruffling the younger boys hair, "It's okay, Vic." Mitch rocked back and forth a little.
Vic just sipped at his bottle of mountain dew happily.
My mom laughed, "Gerard, Mikey, can I talk to you two alone?" She asked rather suddenly. "Yeah, sure." We both said in unison. We exchanged worried glances, and then got to our feet, frowning.
Everyone watched us as we left the room with our mom, "Do you guys remember that it's your little friend, Patrick's, birthday soon?" She reminded us.

We both gasped, and then nodded, "Will you take us to the store tomorrow, momma?" Gerard asked innocently.

My mom laughed, "Yes, of course. Now go watch your movie. I ordered another pizza for you guys, by the way."

We smiled, "Thanks mom!" And then we ran out, back to the living room to join our friends, where Mitch had started a truth or dare.

We sat down to listen, "Truth or dare." Mitch was staring directly at a very terrified Patrick, "T-t-truth!" Patrick stammered, whispering. "Are you straight?" Mitch asked the tiny child. Patrick blushed furiously, "N-no..." He said, hiding his face.

"M-mikey, truth or dare." He turned to me, "Dare." I said, smiling.

"I dare you to kiss the cutest boy in this room." He smiled awkwardly.

I leaned over and kissed my best friend Frank. He kissed me back, and I blushed harshly, closing my eyes.

"Alright, that's enough!" My brother teased.
I pulled away and turned to Gerard, "Truth or dare?" I asked him.
"Truth."
"Whimp."
"Loser."
"Who was your first kiss?" I asked him.
"My first kiss? Bethany Ross."
"Ryan's older sister!?" Ray shouted in disgust.
Ryan was a friend of ours, he hung out with a boy named Bert, but he was pretty cool, unlike the others. Ryan didn't hang out with us that often though. He and his sister were both really weird, which is why Ray was so disgusted.

Laughter rippled through the room.
"Truth or dare?" Gerard stared at his best friend, Mitch. Honestly, sometimes I thought they where a thing.
"Dare." Mitch said, boldly. "I dare you to... kiss your little brother!" Vic wiggled his nose in disgust, and Mitch raised an eyebrow, staring at Gerard skeptically. Gerard wiggled his eyebrows, and laughed.

Just to make it clear, Vic is not actually Mitch's little brother, but he does live with Mitch. Mitch found Vic alone, starving, sick, and dying on the streets of New Jersey when the boy was ten, because his parents had kicked him out, and now Mitch acted as a sort of guardian for the younger boy, so there was nothing weird about them kissing, except for the fact that they felt like family.

Vic screwed his eyes shut and waited for Mitch to kiss him. Mitch sighed and kissed the boy gently. Vic gagged and coughed afterwards, putting on a big show. "How does it feel, doing something illegal?" Gerard asked.

Mitch stuck my older brother with a glare, and then turned to Ray, "Truth or dare?" He asked. The fluffy haired boy pondered the question for a brief moment, "Uh... truth." He said. Mitch frowned, "Boring! Are you a virgin, and if not, who did you lose your virginity to?" He questioned. Ray blushed harshly, "Yes I am a virgin!" The boy snapped awkwardly. Mitch laughed, "Alright."
"Truth or dare?" Next it came around to Vic.
"Dare!" Vic shouted. "I dare you to blow the ne-"
Ray cut Mitch off, "Not happening Ray."
Ray pouted, "Fine." Then he turned to Vic again, "I dare you to kiss the next person to choose dare."
Vic nodded, "Alright. Andy, truth or dare."
Andy got this smug look, "Dare." He said, a purr rumbling in his throat. Vic looked like someone had thrown a tomato and it had splattered all over his face.
"I should kiss you first..." Vic pointed out, almost silently. They both leaned in, and their first attempt to kiss was a horrible fail. They clashed heads, and Andy jerked back, "Ow!" Vic mumbled, "Let's try that again..." This time, Andy tilted his head so that it didn't happen again, and they kissed.
It was a short kiss, but everyone in the room felt the electricity between it.
"I uh.... I dare you to.... I dare you to..." For once, the usually rambunctious Vic didn't know what to say, "I dare you to get into Gerard's mom's liqueur cabinet." Andy smirked, "Alright... Will do." Mitch glared at Vic, but said nothing.

Andy got up and we all snuck into my garage to jack my moms Jack.

And that's how we used to be... that's how we used to be until this all fell apart, and the fights began.
It's all because he met that man, Bert about half a year ago.
And now, because of these fights, I spend my time in my room, away from people, talking to Frank over the phone.
It was heartbreaking to think that only two years ago we were so close, and now my brother couldn't even stand the sight of me.
"Mikes! Dinner time!" I heard my mom call out.
"Coming!"

Notes

So, this is just a test drive. I'm trying my hand at Waycest. If this doesn't get any feedback, or if it gets negative feedback, I won't continue it...
Also, I wasn't really able to get this done without crying, because of Mitch...
