I was in tears, Grace and Abi sobbing behind me, this story with it's almost happy ending. If there was a God, why would he end an amazing person like Mikey
"Why the hell are you guys crying?" a voice rang through my ears
I looked up and saw Mikey hovering above me with snow white wings keeping him afloat
"Mikey!" Grace, Abi, and I called out
"Hi, by the way. Thanks Gerard" Mikey smiled
Mikey deteralized into the night sky
"Your welcome" I called out
Mikey no longer stood in front of me, his lanky body replaced with the ongoing darkness of the night. After a moment of sitting, Grace picked me up and placed me on the ground. Abi floated down with us
"Thanks Gracie"
"No problem"
I noticed that Grace's wings were turning slightly lighter so were Abi's
"Guys?"
"What?" they asked
I pointed to their wings as the black feathers exploded off their now white wings, they seemed to be glowing in light as they smiled at the beauty of their new wings
"Well looks like it's our turn Gerard" Abi said happily
"Will you visit?"
"Maybe" Grace chuckled "We'll see"
They grasped eachother's hands and flew straight up into the sky,
"Goodbye" I whispered
Once they were out of sight, I started to walk home. I stopped when a rose fell in front of me. It was a white rose with red speckles on it, the speckles shifted and formed these three words
"We Love You"
