Party Poison's Daughter

"What are we going to do? The fabulous killjoy's have been kidnapped and I'm not prepared." I asked Alex. "We need a plan. First off we should get my friend." I nodded at what Alex said. Alex motioned for me to follow her. We came to a small house. Alex knocked on the door three times. "It's a code." She explained. A girl with blue and purple hair answered the door. She had pale skin. "Hi Karen." Alex greeted. "This is my friend Max. I think she'll need a ray gun." Alex added. Karen nodded not asking any questions.
She disappeared and came back after a second. She held a gun out to me. It was blue with a streak of red. "Every gun is different." Karen smiled as I took it. It was light. "Do you know how to use it?" Alex asked. I nodded. I had seen Korse and the Dracs use them many times before. "We need your help the Fabulous Killjoy's and our friend Jace have been kidnapped by BLI. We need to find them quickly before they can take away their individuality." Alex explained quickly to Karen. Karen just nodded as they discussed the plan to get into BLI. "One problem we don't know any of the entrances." Alex sighed. "I do. I've seen a couple that aren't used often. I was taken at birth remember? I grew up there." I piped in.Karen smiled at me. I still wondered how we would do this. I am eleven and Karen and Alex were thirteen. It helped that we look older for our age. It helps us get around without suspicion."We should rest first. We're not going to do them any good if we're taken." Alex announced. Me and Karen agreed. We went inside the house."What should we have for dinner?" Alex asked. "Anything without meat." Me and Karen chorused."Ugh vegetarians." Alex muttered before she started to cook.
Karen took out a deck of cards and we started to play. All of the sudden the radio piped up. "Look Alive Sunshine,109 in the Sky but the pigs wont quit, You're here with me, Dr. Death Defying, I'll be your surgeon, your procter, your helicopter, pumpin' out the slaugtomatic sounds to keep you alive, a system failure for the masses, anti-matter for the master plan, louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny, this one's for all you rock n rollers, all you crash queens and motor babies, listen up, the future is bulletproof, the aftermath is secondary, it's time to do it now and do it loud, killjoys, make some noise." It quieted down. "What was that?" I asked. "It's code. It lets us all know that the fabulous killjoy's have been taken hostage but that we need to keep our heads up." Karen smiled while explaining. I nodded as I ate my dinner.
"I'll keep watch first. Then Karen. Then Max." Alex announced. Me and Karen nodded. I fell into a quick dreamless sleep when I was shaken awake by Karen. "Keep watch until sunrise. Then wake us." She whispered. I nodded. I watched them breathe in and out until I saw the sun peak over the sand dunes. I quickly arranged some breakfast before waking the others up. Karen and Alex smiled as they saw the breakfast on the table. They finished quickly and we started packing up. We each only took a backpack with one set of extra clothes for when we got into the city and some money but that was all we needed. We started the long journey as the bus stopped coming to the desert for an unknown reason.
As we were walking Alex started to sing a song vaguely familiar to me.

Me and Karen joined in.
"And through it all, we'll find some other way To carry on through cartilage and fluid

We finished the song. Karen and Alex smiled at me. "You know the song?" They asked. I nodded. I remembered one time when I was little I heard a man with black hair singing it to a little girl in the park. I froze in my steps. That was Dad. And that little girl was my sister. "What's wrong?" Alex asked. "Doesn't my dad have another daughter?" I asked. Karen's eyes widened. "Bandit.... She lives in the city with your mom. We should tell them the news." She said. Me and Alex nodded. We finished the hike in silence. When we got into the city Alex guided us through the back route to my mom's house. When we got there Karen knocked on the door.
A woman with black hair stood at the doorway. "Max?" She asked in disbelief. "Mom?" I questioned back. She hugged me. "Come in girls. Quickly quickly." She said nervously. We rushed inside. "The fabulous killjoy's have been taken captive." Alex started explaining everything that happened. When she finished my mom said "Okay I'll help but Bandit is not getting involved." We all nodded. This would be interesting.
