Second Nature

“So we thought we would have a little fun before the rest of the party joined us.” Ryan laughed once he’d got us into the positions he wanted us. Frank was tied to a chair, the same chair I was tied too all those weeks ago, and I was forced on my knees, with my hands cable tied behind my back on the opposite side of the room to Frank. The spare men pointing guns at our heads to persuade us not to make one wrong move. I could see the worry in Frank’s eyes, he’d never had anything like this happen to him, whereas, I knew what was coming. I lied when I said I didn’t have a plan. This was my plan.
“So who should we start with?” Ryan smirking standing in between us both. “Why don’t you call it Blake? Heads or tails?” He asked taking the gold coin out of his pocket looking at me with evil in his eyes.
“Don’t care.” I stared at him right back.
“Did you hear that?” He looked at Frank “she didn’t even plead for me to spare you. Bet if that was the other way around you would have wouldn’t you?” He walked over to Frank ever so slowly, the glistening of his gold ring that he wore to cause maximum damage. “Let’s see if we can get her to plead shall we? Let’s see those worthless human emotions rise up in her like bile in your throat.” He smirked grabbing hold of Frank’s jaw and squeezing. I looked Frank in his eyes begging him to stay strong for me, which he did. “Oh a brave one okay.” Ryan smirked again this time rolling up his blue shirt sleeves and punching Frank in his weakened jaw. I could tell he was stifling a groan of pain and after a few more blows he finally let one slip out. “You heard the pain the poor boy is in and you’re still not begging me. You’re sick Blake.” Ryan smirking whilst striking the opposite side repeatedly.
“You want me to beg?” I spoke making him stop mid strike as he turned to look at me.
“Yes Blake I want you to beg. I want you to beg me to stop hurting him. Beg me not to kill him. And when I’ve finally got round to you I want you to beg me to kill you both. The pain I’m going to put you both through is going to be that excruciating that death is a better option.” He smirked kneeling down to my level, stroking my cheek with his rough thumb. “And when you beg me to kill you, I’m not going to do that. Oh no.” He laughed stroking his way down to my neck. “I’m going to make you kill everyone you love before I let you go.” He gripped my neck tightly smirking. “Your nothing but a glitch Blake and glitches have to go.” He spat in my face as I heard Frank shout for him to let me go.
“You know that’s not going to happen Ryan, so save your time. Kill yourself now.” I spat back with a smirk as he let go of my neck and smacking me so hard he sent me to the other side of the room.
“Finally, my knees were starting to hurt. Something you’re used to I guess from all of Zach’s cock sucking you do.” I laughed out as I was lay on my side, arms still behind my back. That was it I really sent him into overdrive as all I felt was kick and punch right after each other. I could feel the blood dripping from all over my body and that was when I knew I had him. I had them all.
“Shit boss she’s bleeding human blood.” One of his lackey’s shouted out as I laughed from my curled up position on the floor. Rolling on to my back, on my arms and staring up at him through my beat up face.
“You thought they’d cured me. Thought they’d made me full vampire didn’t you?” I laughed out despite the pain. “Welcome to hell Ryan. I can’t wait to watch you get so weak with the smell of my blood. You’re going to be putty in my hands.” I smirked up at him as I saw his eyes flash the tell-tale sign of hunger.
“What about lover boy over there, he’s a pure blood.” He smirked back causing me to give out an almighty laugh.
“Frank fed from me when one of your men shot him.” I watched as realisation hit him like a tonne of bricks. “That’s right he won’t feel hunger until a good couple of days, by which we’ll be in a bar sipping hot chocolate after a hard day skiing.” I smirked up at him before laughing uncontrollably.
“Get him out of here! Stay with him!” Ryan snapped as they untied Frank dragging him but not before I winked at him. “You! Get her on the bed next door and don’t not leave her side. I’m going to go get Zach.” Ryan screeched at another guy.
“But boss what about the others?” He questioned nervously as I stared at him smirking.
“Do you want me to kill you right here and now? Do as I fucking say!” Ryan screamed at him before disappearing, leaving me with a very nervous newbie.

I gave it about an hour or so after I was handcuffed to the bed to start my plan rolling. “You got kids?” I asked the guy who was sat at the side of me, trying not to look at me. He ignored me at first but I asked again.
“Yeah I have a son and a daughter.” He answered quietly.
“Cool.” I smiled staring up at the ceiling.
“Alex I need a bathroom break come cover me.” He spoke into his little microphone piece. I smirked because of his stupidity. I waited until there was a knock on the door and he got up to walk out of the room and brief this Alex on what had happened in the last hour. As I heard them wittering on I quickly uncuffed my hands but left them at the top of the headboard to surprise this Alex. He walked in and I knew his face. He had just started working for Zach when I was researching Frank.
“Hi Alex.” I smiled waving at him giving him a moment to realise I’d got free. He went for the door but I was quicker grabbing hold of him and twisting myself around his neck so the back of his head was resting on my shoulder. “You’re going to sit on that chair and not make a single noise got it?” I asked straining his neck more as he tried to nod. I walked him to the chair which he sat down on.
“How much training have you had?” I asked.
“About a month.” He answered honestly.
“Where’s Frank?” I asked this time he shook his head. I smacked him hard across the face so he landed on the bed. “Where’s Frank?”
“Four doors down the corridor.” He replied giving a little whimper. I grabbed the handcuffs and cuffed him to the top of the bed, taking out his ear piece and his weapon and sticking a piece of cloth in his mouth. “Nothing personal.” I smirked before waiting behind the door for the first guy to arrive. I soon heard him whistling down the corridor. He opened the door and I pounced, making him crash to the floor. I acted quickly cable tying his hands and feet to the solid wood bed post before removing his ear piece and weapon just like I had done to Alex. I stuck cloth in his mouth and looked at them both smirking. “Now let’s hope you mean as much to them as you both think otherwise there’s going to be a nasty smell coming from this bedroom when I get back off my holidays isn’t there?” I smiled before walking out of the door despite their pleas and locking it behind me.

I counted the doors as I walked down the corridor until I reached the door Frank behind. I knocked on slowly and opened the door greeted by the backs of the two guys minding Frank. “What did I miss guys?” I asked standing in between them as they both reached for their guns which I had aiming at their heads already. I didn’t even flinch when I shot them. I quickly dropped the guns and ran over to Frank stroking his cheek. “I’m so sorry.” I whispered tears filling my eyes. “I had to make him do that otherwise he would have known I’d planned this.” I whispered crying softly against his neck as I untied his hands that were behind me. He barely got them free before he grabbed the back of my head and kissed me deeply. “I love you.” He whispered just as I screamed out.
“What what is it?” He looked towards the door but no one had entered. Panic covering his face.
“Anna.” I whispered. “Anna’s dead.” I looked over at him as my tears wouldn’t stop.
