the light in the dark

I'm some where deep in a forest. My senses are hightened. There is a horrible feeling in my gut. I look around trying to figure out exactly where I'm at. Then I smell it. The metallic smell of human blood. My fangs start to come out at the smell of it. I run to were it was coming from. That's when I see the boy lying there dead. His throat was slit, it looked as if he had done it to himself. I don't recognize the black haired boy but I feel like I know him. Just the sight of him laying there like that breaks my heart. If I had came faster I could have saved him but it's to late he's already dead. I sit by him and cry. How can this boy that I don't even actually know bring me so much heart break. Thats when I open my eyes.. It was just a dream.. The third time I've had that dream in two weeks. I told my mum about it but she just passed it off as a nightmare. I look at the time its three a clock in the morning. Fuck I have two be up in two hours. Its my first day at my new school. My mum, my sister, and I had to move once my dad was killed. I wasn't to broken up when he died. His last couple years he had been an abusive drunk.. He had it coming, I was just supprused it was my sister that did it. I always thiught in would be the one to out the last nail in his coffin but it was tristen who did. That was a month ago. Once everything had gotten sorted out we had to move. We officially moved in to the new jersey house three nights ago. Which was Friday. It was now Monday morning and me and tristen started at our new school.. We are you average teenagers except for the fact that were vampires. I decide to try to sleep again but after an hour and a half I give up and just get ready for school.
