Can't Trust a Girl in Blue

Autumn lies wide awake in her lumpy bed, starring into the darkness she calls her room. Oddly enough, the darkness gave only a small bit of comfort, for what lied beyond her door was what her mind couldn't comprehend. Screams could be heard in the distance, and she shook immensely as fear consumed every ounce of her body.

A small noise could be heard. It was a quiet noise, but in the deadly silence, it was practically an explosion. Still overdosed in fear, she makes no movement. But, soon she finds the noise was not just another bump in the night, but rather brought a small nightmare. She felt ice cold hands first touch around her calves, then slide down to her ankles where they gripped tight; nails practically dug in because the grip was so strong.

Soon she found herself drug off her bed, and on her back on the floor. The fall was hard, for the concrete floor gave no sympathy. Autumn felt the floor then begin to slide against her back. Where is he dragging me to? Why is he dragging me? Yet, she felt no urge to object or fight the hands still grasping almost too tightly.

They had dragged her out into more darkness. The hallway seemed empty; just a long, slow, straight hallway. Till suddenly, a sharp right turn. The blackness of the air, and silence of the atmosphere, made everyhing seem so much scarier than it actually was. These hands didn't seem to wish to harm, only drag. The silence wasn't full, only a place of opportunity for fulfillment. Seeming to start to relax, trusting the hands that gripped hard on her ankles, she takes a breath.

But a moment too late. Before she knew it, another set of hands gripped around her ribs and lifted her clean off the floor. Her body lands hard on a frozen steel table. What? And before she could think, a voice is heard. Too quiet for her to make out, but she had never heard it before in her life.

Her limbs now restrained, her mind tries to fight for a response to everything that was happening. But everything was happening too fast. A bright light takes away her vision, and a small tingle in her arm takes away everything else. Anesthetics.
