Can't Trust a Girl in Blue

Kat awakes with a jolt as a blood curling scream rips through the air. She jumps and practically falls from the small bed, her sister grabbing hard at the blanket and overly teary eyed. Kat feared for what her sister dreamed of, but feared more about the fact of their apartment owner had done crashed through the door.

"No Mr. Way, no! It wasn't her fault! It was only a nightmare!" Pleads Kat frantically as he holds fast at Echo's shirt and neck and then proceeded to slam her against the wall, and finally scream in her face. She knew her sister had done it and knew what would come next.

The tall, sort of built, male takes a deep breath and stares deep and dark into Echo's eyes. "You two have until tomorrow night to get a new place. You're no longer welcome here." He finishes at an overly calm yet firm tone. Like he had practiced having such a calm tone over and over, weird.

As the male sets Echo down slowly, he peers over at Kat for just a second, and she gets a weird feeling when he does. It was like he was hiding something. Weird...

The door had slammed shut as he left, but his eerie vibe had seemed to make itself at home. Kat sat motionless and in lost of words, but Echo's feelings were far more important than her own.

Kat grabs the blanket from the floor and wraps it around the still stunned and shaking fearfully girl. Echo was leaned against the wall that the man had just held her against. Kat hugs her, and kisses her head before picking her up and setting her on the bed again. As they snuggled, Kat's mind wondered. Echo felt sorrow, fear, and more than anything: guilt. It was all her fault they had to leave. Where are we to go? Both sisters had thought the same thing at the same time, and neither of them had even a single clue to an even half decent answer.

"Echo, I love you. It's not your fault, let's just sleep some more. Tomorrow morning you'll hav to tell me that dream of yours." Kat said calmly and more motherly than anything. Echo just nodded and wrapped herself into a ball and placed herself onto Kat's lap. Kat smiled softly, it was adorable.

meh... sorry I haven't been able to update lately. My study hall teacher is... well... manys words x3

but i hav decided im going to actually make a new account... and do a whole bunch of changes but i swear this will be the last time... 3rd times a charm x3 so wen i get wifi at my house... which seems to be a bit of ways off still but actually a lot sooner than anything... imma finalize all the changes i hav planned. im not sure what im going to call this "change" nor how to explain what im doing... but honestly ... its going to be something that hopefully i can start changing lives with...
