Magical
Look Alive, Sunshine
It's been an hour since I departed from 9 3/4.. How that is possible - I'll never know. The ride has mostly been me shrunken in my seat, my gaze drifted towards the window. I didn't know what to think of this. Pete and ..Mikey? where busy chatting away. Dallon had fallen asleep, and Zack, whilst obviously intrigued into the conversation that his friends held, hadn't said a word besides the hello and a few questions. Mikey left me alone after noticing my awkward stance. They all knew each other. I was just ...Ray Toro sitting without a clue in the fucking - mind my language - world of what the Hell this all is about! Wizards? You're kidding, right?
I had slowly began to close my eyes when the train stopped, the force tugging me farther into my seat. Mikey laughed gently as my eyes flew open. Acceleration wasn't my friend, at the moment. Neither where my eyes, I realized as I caught glimpse of his beautiful smile. What? Please, dear Lord, let there before some cute girls here.. please.
Every ..wizard and witch filled off the train, a loud buzz of voices ringing in my ears. Mikey gripped my shoulder so we would stay together in the sea of magic blooded people.
"Dang children," I heard the large man that I had just passed mutter. I took offence to it, honestly, but it's too early to cause any attention to myself. I'm not one for crowds, however, so I understood where he's coming from. The man was tall yet very, very skinny. I looked up and he caught my gaze. "''Ello, tumbleweed!" He piped with a small, obviously fake smile. "Welcome to Hogwarts!" His voice burned my ears, the deep tone reminding me of some type of radio reporter.. I just walked on with an awkward smile before bumping into a boy that looked similar to Mikey, yet his hair was black and long.
"Gee!" Mikey and Pete squeaked in unison. "Big bro!" Mikey chipped in. That explains it. Gee smiled at me, grabbing my hand and shaking it.
"I'm Gerard," he spoke, "but call me Gee. I see you've met my brother and might-as-well-be-brothers. In the oldest." He made sure to add in the last part. I rolled my eyes with a small pink coating my cheeks. His hand was soft. As soft as his eyes.
"R-Ray." He nodded, dropping my hand before giving his brother a bone crushing hug.
"How the f- heck did we get separated?" Gee hummed. I kept walking, my head down. This place was so castle-like. How did people not notice it? We're just right in the open. A castle full of wizards and witches and magic and wands and things I never knew existed. The crowd brushed into the doors, being directed around to crowd the main room. They all left space to the center, a pedestal standing with a raggedy hat on it. What the honest Hell?
I squished up beside Mikey, blushing slightly as I did so whilst the man from before rang throughout the hall, "Gather 'round, First Years! Come on! The Sorting Ceremony is about to begin!" I scrunched up my face and raised a brow.
Mikey lent down and chuckled, "To choose our house." I nodded as if I understood, but honestly, I had no clue. I flinched as I thought I saw the hat move. Mikey let out another giggle. "That is the Sorting Hat! It goes through your thoughts like a creepy weirdo." Mikey had his hands on my shoulders as if he was a protective parent. I didn't say a thing. I was being held up by Mikey, honestly, as if I was dead and limp.
"Come on, pipsqueaks!" The man called. "The Sorting Hat is ready! There's four houses - Gryffindor," - a loud boom of people squealed and yelled - "Hufflepuff," - another crowd, sounding more feminine - "Ravenclaw," - yet, another - "and Slytherin!" The cries where distinguished. Gryffindor sounded more like a football team being announced. Hufflepuff seemed like a bunch of hippies. Ravenclaw seemed like an unaided school crowd at a pep-rally. Slytherin sounded like intimidation. Interesting. "When your name is called, please step forward." I was all out shaking. Such a large crowd... I hardly played attention. Well, until I watched familiar faces waltz upwards. And one face I couldn't quite put a finger on why he stuck out. His name was Frank Iero, and he wore such a menacing snarl. His hair was short and done in some sort of a loop. It was also shiny. He placed the hat on his head, twiddling his thumbs like he had his favourite house in mind.
"SLYTHERIN!" The hat cried. Frank smirked and strutted away to the group in green robes. Something I don't like about this boy.. I didn't pay attention until I heard my name and a shove at my back. I shook, stambering up to the chair and quivering when the hat met my head. Everyone's gaze was on me. This was unreal. "Oh, it's real," the hat whispered. It hummed before bellowing, "RAVENCLAW!" I scooted my way to the cheering team. They where all in blue.
Somehow, Mikey and Gerard where separated. Mikey into Hufflepuff (?) and Gerard into Gryffindor. I shivered. I'm alone. I skipped tge feast. I feel too sick. I might just be nervous, though. Wait - Is that Patrick? I didn't really notice what he got until he came running towards me, grasping me into a bone crushing hug. My short curly hair bounced up a bit, and he smiled at me.
"Ravenclaw Toro!" I nodded, rubbing my shoulder. This all felt too surreal. It was so.. Unreal. I should wake up any minute.
Come night time, I woke up the next morning still in this castle of mysterious things.
