Tears
Summary
Life has always been pretty shitty for seventeen year old Frank Iero. His father walked out on him and his mother when he was only three years old, and ever since his mother has been distance, and not there. It isn't often that she talks, and when she does she's either whispering about how her life is a living hell, or screaming about how Frank is such a horrible son, and that it's all his fault that his father left.
It isn't an easy task to take care of his senile mother.
On top of having to care for his very unstable mother, Frank is still dragging his way through high school, trying to maintain grades, while juggling two jobs in order to be able to feed his mother. And even worse, he is openly gay at a school full of judgmental homophobic's. The teasing is brutal, and almost unbearable. With only a few friends to talk to, its hard to get his feelings out into the open.
Suicide seems like a good path at this moment in Frank's life. It's not like anyone would care, and his aunt could take care of his mother. No one loves Frank, so what's the point? Why continue on?
Life has been a pretty smooth trip so far for eighteen year old Gerard Way. He has a complete family who loves him with all their heart. His parents are completely sane, and completely in love. They have good jobs, and always find time to spend with their kids. To add to his perfect family, he has the most amazing little brother that will always talk to him no matter what. His family is very accepting.
Big house, big money, nice cars, good grades, and great people to surround himself with, Gerard has everything Frank wishes he had. Gerard has amazing social skills, and can easily make friends. He and his family just moved from New York, and now live right across the street from Frank.
Life is pretty good for Gerard, and a lot to live for. People tend to like Gerard, and why wouldn't they? He's a pretty face, and a smart boy with a quick tongue, and witty things to say. He is the life of the party in every sense.
What happens when Gerard and Frank cross paths? Will their lives change forever, or will they go on as usual, unaware of each other? Will Gerard pull Frank out of the gutter, or will Frank make Gerard sink?
Characters
Brendon Urie
Brendon is a pale skinned boy who stands at a medium height. Brendon tends to wear really thick eyeliner under his eyes. He has shaggy, but short brown hair that is usually really messed up. His eyes are a dark chocolate brown, and are sometimes framed by thick black glasses. Brendon has unnaturally long eyelashes, and it appears that he is wearing mascara, though he doesn't. Brendon is 5'7" and has a semi-muscular build that you can more so see on his arms, then in his abs. Brendon is a pretty up beat person, who always has a lot to say. He doesn't let the constant bullying get to him. He always knows what to do to make his friends laugh. He is a "freak" like Frank. He is dating Ryan.
Christofer Drew (Chris)
Chris is a tall boy with very pale skin. Chris's body is decorated in many different types of tattoos, much like Frank, his most noticeable one being on his throat and chest. Chris has a full head of shaggy caramel brown hair that lengthens in the back, and hangs in front of his eyes, which are green. Christofer is tall, lanky, but built with lean muscle. He stands at 5'11". Chris has scars on his hips from cutting. He has a ring in his lower lip, to the left. Chris is your typical awkward teenage boy. He's got lots of spirit, but not a lot of confidence, and tends to avoid people. He is new to the high school, but is already being picked on and seen as an outcast. He will eventually start hanging out with the freaks, but for now he is neither a freak or a jock.
Darek Lathum
Darek is a tall boy with somewhat tanned skin. He has a tattoo on his left pectoral, and a pierced navel. Darek has shaggy, and spiky blonde hair. His eyes are pale green. Darek is a tall, slender boy with lots of lean muscle. He stands at about 5'11". Darek is your typical high school jock, he is stupid, and popular. He makes dumb jokes, and picks on anyone who he feels threatened by. He is the leader of the jocks, and he and Frank are worst enemies. His best friends are Greyson Mais, and Brent Martin.
Frank Iero
Frank is a short boy with pale skin. He has a wide array of tattoos littering his body. He has medium length black-brown hair, and dull, lifeless hazel eyes. Frank is rather thin, but he has slightly chubby cheeks. Frank is 5'2", and has a medium build, not muscular, but not fat. He has faint scars on his left arm. Frank has a lip ring on his lower lip, on the left side, and a ring in his right nostril, and small gages in his ears. Frank is pretty detached from the world. He doesn't make friends easily, especially since his mom is so fucked up. He more so prefers to keep to himself. He is considered leader of the freaks.
George Ryan Ross (Ryan)
Ryan is definitely on the tall side, and is one of the tallest in his friend group. He has somewhat pale skin, and he usually paints his face with some design or another. He never keeps it simple. Ryan has medium length straightened hair that hangs around his face, and in his eyes. His eyes are the type of brown that deserves to make a big deal out of its self, and they could melt your heart. Ryan is tall, and lanky, and fairly skinny. He stands at exactly 6'0". Ryan is bouncy, and funny with his friends, and also really flirtatious. Around normal people he is quiet, and does his best to creep everyone out. He is a freak, but no one beats up on him because he can kick anyone's ass in a heart beat. He is dating Brendon, but Frank is his occasional fuck buddy.
Gerard Way
Gerard is a tall boy, with pale skin. Gerard doesn't wear any make up, but he has dark bags under his eyes. Gerard has shoulder length raven black hair that always appears to be somewhat greasy. His eyes are a dark hazel ,and always full of life. Gerard is tall and lanky, he stands at about 5'9" and has a wiry build, not exactly muscular, but he can sure as hell take someone out easily. Gerard is a typically withdrawn person who doesn't exactly like company, but can tolerate it. He easily makes friends because he is good looking, and smart, and his brother is popular. He used to hang out with the jocks, but now he hangs out with the freaks. He is dating a girl named Lyn-z, but is secretly crushing on Frank.
Joseph Trohman (Joe)
Joe is a pale skinned boy who stands at a medium height. He is littered with tattoos, that show up especially on his arms. Joe has a frizzy head of hair, kind of like Ray's, but his hair is darker brown, almost black. Joe has pale green-blue eyes that doesn't display much. Joe has a lank build, and he stands at about 5'7". Joe is a perceptive person, and picks up on things easily. He is incredibly intelligent, but he has a drinking problem. He's secretly dating the schools football quarterback James Conrad. He is just starting to be considered a freak.
Mark Hoppus
Mark is a tall boy with pale skin. He has tattoos on his right wrist, and arm. Mark has straight brown, almost black hair that is usually spiked up in a mohawk like do. He has pale blue-green eyes that always reflect laughter. Mark stands at about 5'11, and has a semi-muscular build that shows more around his chest and stomach. Mark is funny and happy. He really doesn't like to pick on people, but does it anyways so that Tom wont tease him. He tends to have a really short temper, and gets mad easily. He isn't a freak or a jock, but he is part of Tom's friend group which also include Mikey, and Scott.
Mikey Way
Mikey is a tall, pale skinned boy, sort of like his brother. He bares no tattoos, but he does like to wear eyeliner. Mikey has a head of blonde hair, that has natural light brown highlights. Mikey's eyes are yellow-hazel, kind of like his brothers, but paler. Mikey has a tall lanky build like his brother, with little to know muscle. He stands at 5'11". Mikey is a cheerful, and funny boy who is easy to get along with, though sometimes he mixes with a bad crowd. He cares for everything and everyone. He doesn't have an ounce of hate in his body. He mixes with the popular crowd, though his group of friends is in between. He is dating a senior girl named Alicia, but is also having a secret affair with a boy named Pete.
Patrick Stumph
Patrick is a short boy, the shortest of his friend group, with pale skin. Patrick doesn't wear make up, or bare any tattoos, because he is actually rather innocent. Patrick has a head of medium length ginger hair, and actually rather fluffy sideburns. He sometimes keeps his hair in his eyes, which are green. Patrick has a short, and slightly chubby build. He stands at about 5'0", and has to look up at everyone. Patrick is shy, and as before mentioned, very innocent. He is quirky, and sweet, and doesn't let anything bring down his mood. He always manages to smile. Patrick is abused at home by his father. He has a slight crush on Gerard. He is a freak, not a jock.
Pete Wentz
Pete is a very pale skinned boy who stands at a medium height though is more on the short side. His body is somewhat littered with tattoos, mostly his arms, though his favorite tattoo is on his pelvis. Pete has straight, medium length hair, that is a bit greasy. The dark brown, almost black curtain hangs in front of his eyes, which are watery amber-brown. Pete has a medium-short build that is somewhat muscular. He stands at about 5'4". Pete is very reclusive, and hardly ever shows up to school. Not a lot is known about him, but he is having a secret affair with Mikey Way. He is a freak.
Ray Toro
Ray is a tall boy with somewhat tanned skin. Ray doesn't bare any tattoos, and thinks they're just plain tacky. Ray has a frizzy head of mousy brown hair, and light brown eyes. He has a tall. somewhat muscular build that shows up in his arms, his stomach, chest, and his legs. He stands at 5'11", but claims to be taller than Ryan. Ray is a secretive boy who doesn't really talk to many people, even in his small group of friends. He mainly sticks to talking with Patrick and Frank, and is starting to warm up to Gerard. Ray hardly ever smiles, because he thinks that there isn't really much to smile about. He is a freak, not a jock.
Scott Raynor
Scott is a medium sized boy with somewhat tanned skin. Scott bares no tattoos. Scott has a head of blonde-brown hair that is short, but kind of curly. He has bright green eyes with little to no emotion in them. Scott has a short skinny build that doesn't really have much muscle. He stands at about 5'6". Scott is a more white collar boy, who tends to come across as arrogant and snobbish. He does have a good sense of humor though, and is good with the ladies. He doesn't talk much to people outside his friend group. He is neither a jock or a freak.
Tom DeLonge
Tom is a very tall boy with pale skin. Tom has a thing for tattoos, and there is a mass of them on his left shoulder. Tom has somewhat shaggy brown hair that hangs in front of his eyes, which are a dark chocolate brown. Tom has a ring in his lip, and diamond studs in his ears. Tom has a tall, but lanky build. He stands at 6'2", though he hates having to look down on people. Tom has a typically cheerful personality. He has a dirty sense of humor, and loves to make jokes. Tom is insecure about his sexuality, so he picks on Frank and his friends so he can feel better about having a crush on a boy named Travis. He hasn't told anyone about this though. He is neither a jock or a freak.
Travis Barker
Travis is tall, and pale. His skin is almost completely covered in a wide variety of tattoos. Travis has brown hair that is spiked up in a mohawk. His eyes are pale green. Travis is tall and lanky, standing at about 5'11". Travis is probably one of the most off putting, and avoided kids in the entire school. He has literally no friends, and is even less popular then Frank and his friends. He is more so unnoticed then bullied because he makes people to nervous. Some say that he can sometimes act a bit like a dog. He is less then a freak,
