Boys will be boys

It was soon time to go to eat, me and Gerard left the room making sure the door was locked behind us. We headed down to the hall where hundreds of boys congregated, lining up ready to eat the soggy, vile food that they were supplying us, however we had to eat it else it would be nothing. I grabbed my plate and watched as they slapped the food onto it, some spilling over the edges, i grimaced at the sight as i walked with Gerard to where he sat. I took my fork and began eating slowly, trying to ignore the watery taste of the mashed potato. Gerard laughed at me whilst he flew through eating, he was obviously used to it. 'Just eat it Frank' He laughed as i pushed it around my plate. 'Fine' I sighed, taking another revolting fork full. He rolled his eyes sarcastically and finished his food, setting his plate aside. 'Well, I'm done before you' He smiled, taking a sip of his water, which surprisingly was better than the food. I eat what i could and set my plate aside, taking a drink of my water to wash away the foul taste. 'Well that was....interesting' I laughed, looking at Gerard who for some reason looked nervous, i watched as his eyes flicked from me then behind me, so i turned around only to notice a tall boy, the same boy who had came into our room yesterday. He was walking over, so i stood up and leaned against the table, 'Yes?' I said as he stood in front of me, 'Move' He ordered, 'Let me think....no' I said sarcastically, he pushed me on the shoulder so i pushed him back harder, he staggered backwards and then tried to go past me, but i just moved to stop him, no way was i letting him get near Gerard. 'He's my bitch' He spat, his face bright red from anger, 'I'm sure he is' I laughed sarcastically before he walked away, clenching his fists. I turned back to a whimpering Gerard, his face paler than ever and his eyes watering. 'Come on' I said, helping the scared boy up and heading to our room, where Gerard would be alot safer. We finally got there and i opened up the door, Gerard walked in and i followed making sure i had locked it behind me, he sat on the bed and began to sob, tears streaming from his eyes. I sat beside him and wrapped my arms around him tightly, cradleing him gently as he wept into my shoulder. 'I-I'm sick of it all' He whimpered, his sounds muffled by my shirt, 'I know Gee, I know' I said softly, i understood that he was sick of it all, if it was me i would be...I couldn't stand seeing Gerard in this state. 'P-please take me away from it all' He sobbed harder, grabbing my arm and clutching onto it firmly, 'P-please' He whispered. 'Gee, don't say that...please, I...I love you' I choked out, almost in tears myself, Gerard was terribly hurt, after all the years of torment, he just needed someone to love him and i did, i loved him more than anything, i loved him more than anyone or anything i had ever loved before, i just loved him. He looked up at me, his eyes puffy and red, 'Y-you do?' He whispered, I stroked his face gently, 'Yes' I whispered before sealing our lips together in a passionate kiss, but this time it meant more to me, not just 'like' but 'love'. I pulled away and pulled him closer to me, 'Gee, when we leave this place we will run away, run away and be together' I whispered, stroking his head softly. He nodded and ran his fingers up the back of my neck, 'I would like that' He whispered, smiling softly, his tears were gone now and it made me happy, knowing that he was happy. 'Just promise me one thing?' I said, looking into Gerard's eyes, 'What?' he whispered, 'Please don't ever leave me' I whispered, kissing him softly on the nose.
