Cemetery Drive

After a few more hours of my family being together the Way brothers came back into my room. I was about to tell them to leave but my mom and dad got up to give us some time together and my mother insisted I be nice. Even though I didn't want to be nice, I only did it for her.

"Feeling any better Frank?" Mikey asked as he took the seat next to my bed, Gerard stood behind him.

"I'm okay." I shrugged.

"Well you look better." He said with a big smile.

"Thanks." I said.

"Look so we were thinking about what you said earlier and you were right. We were friends but we just fell out of loop, and we want to change that."

"Thanks but-"

"Frank we aren't taking no for an answer, you need friends right now and you're going to need them when the baby comes." Mikey pointed out.

"I'd really appreciate that." I said with a small smile on my lips. I looked up to see Mikey stand up.

"To celebrate I'm going to get us some pizza from across the street." He said, he walked passed Gerard and shoved him towards my bed before leaving.

"So um," Gerard started and scratched the back of my head.

"So Gerard how have-" I started but was cut off.

"Frank I think you're my mate." He blurted out.

After he blurted that out his eyes went wide and so did mine, we stared at each other for a few silent minutes before we spoke.

"I'm sorry; I didn't mean to just blurt that out. I had a whole plan of-"

"You think we're mates?" I asked.

"I do, after I saw you in the bathroom at school the other day I just knew."

"I'm sorry Gerard but I'm not looking for my mate right now, I just got out of a really bad relationship and I have my baby to think about and I have to put-" I started but was cut off.

"I know, I kinda had a feeling you'd have too much on your plate right now for a boyfriend. But I don't need to be your boyfriend. I can be a friend, a best friend, a shoulder to cry on when you’re sad, someone to yell at when you’re mad, or someone to hold you when you need to be held, just as long as I'm with you." He said as came even closer to me.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm for than positive that you're my mate; I'd wait an eternity for you." He said and leaned down and kissed my check, when he pulled away he didn't leave my face, he moved his lips over to my hear and softly brushed my hair away.

"You know there is a way for us to find out." He said then dropped his mouth to my neck and softly kissed it, I felt his fangs start to push on my skin.

"Stop!" I said quickly and pulled myself away, from him, he snapped up and took a few feet back.

"I-I'm sorry, you just said you weren't ready and I pushed it, I'm sorry." He said and looked at the floor. "I'll go now if you want."

"No, please stay." I begged, he looked pretty shocked that I asked him to stay but he nodded and took the vacant seat next to me. "It’s not that I didn't want to find out if we're mates but since I'm pregnant your venom could be overshadowed by my hormones and everything going through my blood." I explained.

He smiled at me and held my hand.

"Okay, if you and your baby ever need anything don't hesitate to ask, okay?"

"Okay."

"I'm back!" Mikey yelled and came in with two boxes of pizza, following him was his mate Pete. "And guess who I ran into!" He said and Pete gave him a loving kiss on the head.

I wish I had someone like Pete, someone who obviously loved there mate and would go to the ends of the earth with them. I glanced over to Gerard and saw he was giving me a genuine smile, kinda like how Pete was giving Mikey, maybe Gerard and I were mates? But we still had a while before we would know, and I was okay with that.

I'm sorry for the long wait and it being short, I've just had a crappy week and wasnt feeling like writing so much, but I'm going to start getting back to writing so there is something to look forward to.
