The Bridge To Our Life
Build God, Then We'll Talk (Panic! At The Disco)
"There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses.
It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses
At the shade of the sheets and before all the stains
And a few more of your least favorite things."

*Frank's Point of View*
I was no longer on the trail, I was walking towards the quiet murmur of the river. I swore quietly as my jeans snagged on a bramble and tore. I also ended up cutting my leg, "Ow..." I hissed quietly through gritted teeth.
I pressed on through the last stretch of woods, and broke into the clearing near the banks of the river. I glanced at my watch. The hour hand read five, and the minute hand read twenty-seven. The sun sets in about an hour.
Damn, I've been out here awhile...
*Gerard's Point of View*
I wanted to punch bunny right in her stupid little pixie nose. I had a pixie nose too, but my pixie nose was cute. Her's was stupid. Her high pitched giggle bothered my ears a little as well. Six of us (including me) sat in a sloppy circle around a fire that Pete had set for us.
The troublesome changeling child was making eyes at my brother. Rage boiled up inside my stomach and I glanced at Mikey. I grabbed him and pulled him over to me, holding him tightly. He wouldn't be with a changeling.
Our seventh member showed up. Patrick was a human male that had been enslaved by a dark wizard named Conrad. He was under a spell, but he still had his own personality and everything. He made himself comfortable next to Pete, who had been his best friend since he showed up out of no where some day.
We all chirped our welcome.
He smiled and waved at us, "Hey guys!" Patrick was as innocent as a child. He came to Baden when he was about seven. That was eight years ago. He easily became one of us, because he's really likable. He was pretty cool... His innocence bothered me sometimes...
Mikey stared at me as if he was expecting me to speak... I stared back at him, and he cleared his throat. After a few more moments of silence he groaned, "Gee... did you even hear me?" He hissed.
"No." I admitted, "I wasn't paying attention."
"Someone is by the river..."
*Frank's Point of View*
It was starting to get dark now, and I knew that I was going to get my head ripped off when I got back to the house... Oh yes, I'd be in a world of hurt. I was about knee deep in the cold river water at this point, and three feet from the bank I had left. I was working my way to the center of the river where there was a large rock, but the current was pretty strong, and threatened to push me over with every uneasy step I took.
I was about to take another step, but I noticed the steep drop in the ground in front of me. "I do not need to go for a real swi-" And then I was under the water. Had the current knocked me over. I struggled to the surface and tried to find foot but the water was too deep.
I braced myself against a rock, and looked up at the sky. The sun was setting, and the moon was rising. It was getting darker with every fleeting second. Oh, I was so dead.
Something (or someone, because I swear I saw a face) pulled me back under the water and dragged me down, down, down...
*Bunny's Point of View*
The new human was a real cutie, but he was short... like Patrick short, but not Missy short... I nervously watched the rise and fall of the soaking wet boy's chest. I was in charge of watching him, and keeping an eye out for Conrad, in case he came to find Patrick. Gerard had given me specific instructions on what I was supposed to do when, or if the human woke up, but I couldn't remember what it was... All I am one hundred percent sure of is that the others are off to find food.
I felt my heart quick as the human boy began to move. His eyes fluttered open, they were haze, and then he was on his feet.
Before I could react his fist was connected with my stomach, and I doubled over in pain. As I did this, he punched me in the nose, and then ran off. What a little punk!
Oh, Gerard was going to be so angry with me!!
Missy was helping to me feet now, "Are you okay?" She asked, obviously biting back laughter. "Bitch." I muttered, "I'm fine..." I added, after making sure my face wasn't bleeding too terribly. It wasn't...
"Human!?" I called out, cocking my ears to listen for him. I heard nothing... I could hear Ray grumbling though, about how he had a million better things to do. "Shut up." I hissed through my pointy teeth, my little tail twitching.
"You should be looking for the human by yourself." He grumbled, "You were the one who lost him, not us." He protested for the hundredth time. I really wanted to punch him in his stupid smug face, but I just ignored him best I could.
*Mikey's Point of View*
"Hey, human! Where did ya go, human?" I shouted, looking around, pushing through the undergrowth. The scent of blood reached my nose, causing my nostrils to flare. It smelled really sweet. I got distracted and I began to follow the smell, instead of looking for the human boy. I ended up finding him anyways, because he was the one that was bleeding.
He was using his shirt to wrap up a large gash on his right arm. I found myself tracing my eyes over his every feature, lingering on the bulge in his pants. 'Stop it, Mikey!' I shouted in my head. I began to scold myself, still staring.
"Are you just gonna sit there and stare at me?" He asked through a mouthful of cloth. Oh god, his voice... He jerked his head back and smiled in a satisfied manner as the rest of the shirt fell away from his mouth. He examined the makeshift wrap he made.
"Sorry." I muttered, looking elsewhere, trying to draw my attention to myself. I would have been blushing like crazy if I hadn't been in my Fledgling form. I silently thanked the moon. "I'm M-Mikey..." I offered with a slight stutter.
He laughed, and I felt like I was about to die. "Well M-Mikey, I'm Frank." He said with a smirk. "Now take me home." He added in a demanding tone. I stared at him blankly, lost in my thoughts again.
"Hello?"
I shook my head. I saw problems between him and Gerard in the future. I wasn't wrong...
He awkwardly got to his feet and grunted in pain. I noticed that he also had a cut on his upper leg. "I... I'm sorry, I can't take you home..." I offered an apologetic smile.
"Can you at least tell me where the hell I am?" He said with an irritated sigh.
"You're in the Changeling Wood." His eyes snapped wide, "I'm in Braden?!" He shouted, drawing attention.
We weren't alone anymore.
Gerard was here, and we were soon joined by Pete, Patrick, Ray, Bunny, and Missy.
"That is correct." Gerard said with a small frown.
"Hey, I know you!" The human boy shouted, pointing in my brothers direction.
"Congratulations." Gerard said with a smirk, "You know the most fabulous person in all of Braden." My brother finished. Then he was staggering backwards, hands flying over his left eye.
Holy shit! Had Frank just hit him?!
Let the problems begin.
*Patrick's Point of View*
We all stared at the other human boy, completely dumbstruck, and unsure what to do, as Gerard staggered backwards. I definitely DID NOT want to stick around for what was sure to come next. I shook my head and opened my mouth to speak, "I... I uh... I should go before Conrad notices that I'm gone!" I babbled before turning tail, and running.
*Pete's Point of View*
As Patrick took off, I snapped out of it, and I began to laugh at all the dumbstruck faces around me. Everyone was staring at the human boy... I liked this kid, no one every stood up to Gerard, let alone hit him. He had guts. I grabbed his wrist while everyone began to recover, and shoved him towards the west, "Run until you reach a black oak tree." I urged, "The Changeling Heart Tree." He murmured. "Eeyupp!" I said shoving him again, "Now go!" He took off running.
"You just stood up to God!" I shouted after him.

Notes
So, I spent awhile writing this chapter, and I hope you all like it!
I know that he arrived in Baden a little soon into the story, but I don't like writing pointless fillers.
Please keep writing this!!
