Death's Tour
Ray
I could see Mikey break his permanent poker-face for a second. Fear flashed across his face for a mere second and i saw it. It made me more scared than anything, even my two friends being beyond my reach. But i tried to block it all our as i walked up to the bathroom. I stood infront of the ajar door and took a deep breath. I wrung my sweaty hand. Bob stared at me.
"ARE YOU FREAKING INSANE?!" he screeched when he understood what i was doing.
"I have to do something."
"Aw, come on man. You'll end up crazy or knocked out like the last two, or maybe something even worse. You won't help anyone then."
I started to answer, but then i stopped. I thought about it. It was true, but then again, Gerard and Frank had relatively weak mental states to begin with, no offense intended.
"I don't care." My voice was weak, nearing a whisper and trembling. I kicked the door gently, letting it creep open. I stepped in and saw the pool of blood Mikey had mentioned. Gerard's blood, a razor now beneath the surface of the pool. I squared my shoulders and looked up and around. A girl, slightly see through, like a ghost, leaned against the wall beside the sink. She has a sweet expression on her face, which you could see a skull through. She had long white hair and a long black dress, fading where she would have been touching the floor. Her shadows were red.
"Hello, little Ray. How are you today?" She stopped leaning on the wall and stepped forward.
There was something menacing about her, despite her pretty face and shy manner. Not completely to do with her visible skeleton. It was.. something more. A primal instinct, a chill at the base of my spine and crawling up, making my afro fluff up even more.
She stared my in the eyes, then waved her arm. A ghastly scene appeared. A figure lay on the ground between us, face peeled back. Someone had made very careful work, because despite the lack of skin, the eyes still stared out blankly at the ceiling. Looking at the dress and the hair, and everything else that was visible... I hoped it not true. I prayed it to myself, but i saw the tag hanging from the toe.
"Ray Toro"
I screamed. I couldn't help myself. Maybe it wasn't true, just a freak projection, just a simulation. Nonetheless, it freaked me out. Not taking my eyes off the scene, i fumbled with the door handle. I finally got out, and i slammed the door closed, and i stood there, panting, back against the door.
"You too?" I hadn't noticed Bob come over. I slid down to the floor, still shocked.
"I can still talk though. Unlike the others. Leave Gerard alone for now, and lets meet here."
