You Only Hear the Music When Your Heart Begins to Break
Back on My Feet Again?
"Ow..." Frank gripped his throat gently as another fit of coughing overcame him. Daniel Frank Iero stared down at his son, laying in bed, nothing but disappointment in his eyes. "How much more of school do you have to miss kid?!" He spat in the boys face. It had been about a week and a half, and the homework next to the freshman's bed was piling up.
Four loud knocks at the door. Frank turned over and checked the time. 1:17pm. He curiously tried to sit up, but his dad scowled, "You're sick kid."
Soon Frank's grandmother stood in the doorway. "How are you feeling, Franklin darling?" She asked, placing her hand on Franks forehead. "You're burning up, baby." She frowned. "You need to go to sleep. Get out of her, Dan!" She hissed, "And tell his mother to make him soup." Dan left the room, and Frank's grandmother made him go to sleep.
At school Ray and Gerard were both asleep in the back of the classroom, paying no mind to the teacher. Gerard had his upper body draped over Ray's, but no one noticed. Everyone was to busy picking on the super smart Indian girl who belonged in the 8th grade but was in the 10th grade.
"Mr. Way, Mr. Toro! Wake up!" The teacher shouted. No one looked, luckily enough, as Ray and Gerard untangled themselves from each other. Gerard blushed heavily, and Ray smiled cheekily. They looked up and saw why they had been woken up, it was about time to go.
Mikey sat in his 5th period class doodling on his note pad. He was writing 'Frankie' multiple times on the sheet, drawing hearts, and infinity symbols around the name. "I wish that he would notice me." He whispered.
