No Coffee For Gee ~ Discontinued!
18
Gee woke to his mother calling them down for dinner from just outside his bedroom door. He was warm and comfortable in Frankie's arms. He didn't want to move.
Frankie stirred next to him "Hey baby.." He murmured, reaching up to brush Gee's hair from his face ".. Sleep ok?"
Gee smiled up at him, an adoring look in his eyes "Yeah, you?"
"I slept with you in my arms.. I slept GREAT!" Frankie grinned, leaning in to kiss Gee's soft, pink lips.
"Mum just called us for dinner.." Gee grumbled ".. You're staying, right?"
Frankie nodded "Actually, I'm staying all night... If that's ok with you?"
Gee's face lit up with joy, his head nearly nodding right off "Really?.. Oh yes, yes!" He cheered. Frankie giggled and Gee blushed, looking down.
Frankie lifted Gee's chin up and pressed his lips to the embarrassed boy's. When he pulled away, he looked into Gee's half-closed eyes "Never hide your blush baby.. I think it's so cute.." Gee rolled his eyes, but smiled shyly ".. Let's go eat, ok?"
Gee nodded, and allowed Frankie to help him upright. He sat on the bed as Frankie collected both their hoodies from the floor, then took his and struggled into it. Frankie was dressed first, then turned to help Gee.
After they were both fully clothed, Frankie helped Gee up from the bed, and supported him as they headed out of the room and slowly down the stairs.
Ever since he'd woken up in the hospital, it had become obvious that he had some new problems to face. His arms and legs were weak, his fine motor skills were lacking, and he had memory lapses from time to time.
The doctors said that it was due to the blood loss, and the amount of time that he was technically dead.. 8 1/2 minutes!, but that with therapy, physical therapy, and given time, he SHOULD regain most, if not all of his mobility, if not his memories.
Currently, he needed help, or crutches, just to get around, and Frankie was determined that he would be Gee's crutch for as long as he needed him.
It had already been arranged with the school that Frankie would be transferred into all of Gee's classes until he was 100% again, and Donna had decided that she would drive them into school every day. So hopefully, he could get back to normal soon.
As they reached the bottom step of the stairs, Frankie could feel Gee trembling at his side. It took a lot out of him just to make it down, and he was sweating and breathing heavily now "Ok Gee, I got ya!" Frankie said, bending slightly and scooping Gee's legs up.
Gee squeaked, his arms wrapping tight around Frankie's neck, and his eyes snapping shut "What are you doing?" He said, quickly.
Frankie grinned, kissing Gee's cheek "I'm carrying my boyfriend to dinner. What does it look like?"
Gee cracked open one eye to look at him "I CAN walk!" He murmured.
Frankie chuckled as he made his way toward the kitchen "Never said you couldn't!"
Gee smiled softly and rested his head against Frankie's shoulder.
As Frankie shouldered his way through the door, his heart dropped at the sight, as Gee buried his face in the smaller boy's neck and sobbed slightly.
"Hi there boys.." Bob said, with a wicked note to his voice ".. Come sit with us"
Mikey was next to him, but he was uncharacteristically quiet, his eyes looking nervously between his brother, and his best friend.
Frankie stood frozen for a moment, until Donna spoke up "Now! Mikey, Bob.. I don't want any of your nastiness at this table.. I think we've had quite enough of it, don't you?.." Neither boy answered, but Mikey nodded slightly ".. Any nonsense from you, and you'll both be eating in the garden. Do I make myself clear?" Again, Mikey nodded, but stopped the instant Bob scowled at him.
Frankie moved cautiously into the room and went to place Gee on a chair. Gee's arms tightened around his neck, and he felt the boy shake uncontrollably "It's ok Gee.." Frankie murmured to him ".. I'll be right next to you!"
"No!" Gee whimpered, clinging on tight.
Frankie sighed, and instead, sat himself down with Gee in his lap "Ok baby!.. I got you!.. Now, you gonna eat?"
Gee suddenly wasn't very hungry, but he knew it would worry Frankie and his mum if he refused to eat, so, sniffing slightly, he lifted his head and looked into Frankie's eyes "A little.." He whispered ".. Lost my appetite!"
Frankie could understand that, and nodded softly "Ok!.. Good thing it's pizza though.. Not sure I could use a fork in this position" He grinned at Gee, gently squeezing his side with the arm he still had wrapped around the taller boy's back.
Gee giggled softly, a light blush colouring his cheeks. Frankie grinned and grabbed a slice of cheese pizza, then handed it to Gee, before picking up his own.
Donna sat down at the table and smiled at the adorable sight. She then glanced toward the two other boys, and her smile faded.
Mikey was silently eating a slice of pepperoni pizza, his eyes lowered to the table, while Bob whispered in his ear, occasionally looking over at Frankie and Gee, with a look of pure malice on his face.
This could NOT be good!...
