Franks POV
I threw my jacket on my shoulders and picked up my messenger bag holding my many personal possessions. Basically my IPod and Pansy's cables and the odd comic book. I took a look around my room before picking up the last cardboard box. As much as I was gunna miss my mum I couldn't wait to get out of this shitty little town. As a child it was awesome, Tree-houses, the park even the bridge was fun, seeing who's rock would make the biggest splash. Of course I never did much of that. I was the socially awkward child, I always tried to make friends but they either left or became bullies after finding out my interests. My choice of music mainly The Smashing Pumpkins and The misfits and my choice in relationships were usually the things to drive people away. Rude remarks such as 'Emo' and 'faggot' being the favourites. But finally outta this shitty town. I was moving to New York to a massive University of Music, Drama and Arts. My speciality being......you guessed it Music. Pansy is my Guitar as you already know. I don't really know why I gave her a name, or decided she's a she but it happened none the less.
As I made my way downstairs and out the door I was greeted by three of my neighbours comforting my mother as silent tears fall down her face. Putting my box and bag on the porch I made my way over, drying her tears and having a small chat to the neighbours, before retrieving my bag and box and making my way to my car. Pulling my mum in for another hug before falling into my car, blasting out The Misfits and setting off.... New York here we come.
