They're Gonna Give You a Smirk
Chapter Four
Ray kicked out Gerard from the vehicle. Gerard's body slammed against the pavement. The car drove off, burning rubber. Gerard untied his hands as quickly as he can and pulled the bag off his head. He looked around-he was back where he started. He was laying by the alley, where the cops had chased him down in.
He stood up from the ground and patted off the dirt from his jacket. He begun to walk down the sidewalk, toward the city bus bench. He stumbled, and noticed his hand didn't hurt. Frank had the heart to bandage it, as well as his other injuries Ray had caused. Gerard sat down on the bench and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a dollar as the bus pulled up. When the bus doors swung open, he walked up the two steps and handed the driver a dollar before making his way down the small aisle. He sat down, and watched as the street lights passed by.
When he reached home, he slumped into the kitchen and grabbed a beer. He chugged it down as he sat on his couch. He shook his head in shame, "12.5 grand..." He knew how fucked up the situation was. He was dead either way. All he did with the money from being a middle man, was spent it on hookers and beer. Gerard should've known to save up some money, but he thought he'd be getting it until the day he died...which would be in 5 months. Frank had made it clear that Gerard was temporarily replaced.
Gerard tossed his empty bottle on the ground and huddled onto the ripped couch. He honestly wanted to cry. But he wouldn't. His pride was way too high.
There was a knock on the door. He got up and walked toward the door. He opened it to find a sleazy woman. She wore a red tiny shirt, black see through tights and high heels. Her breath reeked of pills, "Hey baby," She smiled, exposing her white teeth, "Miss me?" She made her way in the apartment, "So, like, I didn't know where else to go-so I thought I'd come to my favorite customer."
"Dandy, I don't have any money."
She tossed her blonde hair back in disgust, "What do you think I am? A hooker?" She laughed hysterically, "Don't worry baby, this one's on the house." She tossed her tiny shirt off, exposing perky breasts. She bit her lower lip, "Come here."
Gerard wasn't in the mood for sex. He was turned on, but there's was too much on his mind. He looked at her, "How about just a lap dance?"
She crunched up her nose, "Fine."
Gerard sat back down on the couch as Dandy climbed on top of him. She kissed his cheek before making movements filled with lust. Gerard kept his hands to himself, enjoying the tease she was giving him.
It came into thought that Dandy was always on the street-maybe she knows a quick way to make money.
Gerard asked, "Dandy, do you know where I can make quick cash?"
"It's nothing but dirty work." She replied, sliding off her skirt, "If you're willing to get dirty."
Gerard smirked, "Quick cash, is quick cash."
Dandy was in thought, "Being a hooker makes money."
Gerard rose a brow, "I'm not going to sell my body."
"Why not? It's not as bad as it looks."
Gerard joked, "That'll be plan B."
Dandy smiled, "There's this guy who's willing to pay 5 grand to kill his brother."
Gerard became interested, "5 grand?"
"A single bullet to the head should do it." Dandy kicked off her heels, "What do I get for giving you this information?"
Gerard playfully smacked her ass, "A thank you."
Dandy frowned, "Yeah, no problem."
