Party Poison

Ghoul/ Franks P.O.V I stared, wide eyed at Party. Kid laughed. "He didn't know, did he?" She asked him. Party grinned. "No, Kid." He said as Star took her from him. He took a box from his pocket and walked towards me. He got down on one knee and took my left hand in his. "Frank Anthony Iero. Fun Ghoul, will you do me the honour of marrying me?" I couldn't take my eyes off of him as he removed a gold band from the box. I heard everyone gasp as he held the ring by my wedding finger. He looked up at me with pure love in his eyes. "It's customary to answer a proposal, sweetheart." Mum giggled after a few minutes. I looked at mum and the others. Everyone gave me the thumbs up. I looked back at Party and smiled. "Yes." I said with tears in my eyes. "Yes, yes, yes, yes." Party put the ring on my finger then stood up. He picked me up and spun me around, smiling as everyone cheered. "You had me worried for a second there." He said as he lowered me to the floor. He stroked my hair back, then kissed me, briefly. "I love you, sugar." I grinned. "I love you too." "Yay." Kid shouted as she ran to Party. He ruffled her hair and put a arm around my shoulders. "Double celebration, Killjoys." He announced as Kid hugged his leg. "The Killjoys have a new member and we're engaged." He kissed me on my head as I rested it on his shoulder. "Kobra, would you do the honours?" Kobra smiled.....smiled as he opened one of the bags to reveal fizzy pop and water. He passed them around and took one himself. He lifted his pop up and looked at Party. "Today we welcome a new member to the Killjoy family." He started. "Missile Kid, I know your going to love it here. To Kid." We all held our drinks up and said, "To Kid." "Secondly to my big brother, Party Poison and Fun Ghoul." Kobra continued. "Party has been through so much in his life. But through it all, he never neglected me or his friends. He's been a rock through all of our bad times. He's saved us all at least once. Often neglecting his own needs or wants. He's more than just a brother to me. He's my Dad, my leader and my most trusted, best friend. He deserves all the happiness in this messed up world. Enter Fun Ghoul. You make my brother happy. You cheer him up when he's down. You stick by him no matter what. For that you will always be my friend and soon, brother. To Fun Ghoul and Party Poison. I love you, bruv." Party moved around Kid and rushed towards Kobra. He hugged him. "Love you too, Mikes." He said with tears in his eyes. "Gay." Skeleton laughed. Typical. Party pulled away from Kobra and grinned at him. "So?" He said, raising his eyebrows. "Your only jealous cause I pulled the best looking guy here." He pulled me into his arms to prove his point. "But your the best looking guy here, Party." Kid insisted. Party looked down at her and ruffled her fro. "Cheers, Kid." I smiled as I wrapped one arm around Party's waist and put my other hand on Kid's shoulder. "I agree with you there, Kid." I said. She smiled back at me as everyone laughed. Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>> I watched Party as he frowned down at the piece of paper on the desk infront of him. "How can we actually get married?" I asked, propping myself up on my elbow on the bed to watch him. "I mean, there's no vicars or anyone to conduct the service." Party turned on his chair to look at me. He smiled as he pulled himself towards me. He grabbed my hands as I sat up. "Dr D has the legal authority to conduct a wedding service." He pointed out. "He got ordained before all this happened." I smiled. "So we can get married for real?" "Yes, baby." Party said, laughing. "He can even use our names from before the apocalypse. So it will be completely real. Would you like that, baby? To be legally married in every way?" I moved so my legs were between his legs, off the side of the bed, and leaned closer to him. "I'd love it." Party leaned forward and kissed me on the forehead. "Then that's what you'll get." He said as he tucked some hair behind my ear. "Anything for the love of my life." "Am I?" I asked, frowning. He frowned back at me. "Are you what?" "The love of your life." Party sighed. "I risked my life to get you a ring." He pointed out. "I wanted to show you, without a doubt, that you are the love of my life. I know how you get jealous. I wanted to show you that you have no reason to. I love you. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I asked you to marry me because I thought it would prove how much I love you and only you." He sighed again. "Doesn't that prove I would never cheat on you? I never wanted to get married. I wanted to spend my life single. Till I met you. Isn't that enough to convince you? Or isn't that enough for you? Because I'm beginning to think that nothing I do will ever be enough." He used his feet to push away from me a little. I shook my head as I moved to kneel on the floor infront of him. "No, baby." I said, grabbing his hands. "I just meant that I love being the love of your life. It felt great hearing you say it. I just wanted you to repeat it. I love you so fucking much. Your the love of my life too. I'm sorry, baby." Party smiled. "You. Are. The. Love. Of. My. Life." He kissed me on the lips after each word. Then he cupped my face with both of his hands. "Don't ever forget that."
