Alive Again

Frank Iero is a guitarist in his own band, and life couldn't be better for him, at least during the summer. He's on summer break, and he's away from school, playing the occasional show in Belleville, New Jersey. After all, its his home town, and he's stuck there for at least another year and a half. He plans to make the best of it.

Gerard Way is an... Artist, some could say, what type is the real question. He once was in a band but the situation got a little... Grim. He's in Belleville once again so he can run away from the present, and back to the past, at least for a little while. After a few years of not painting, drawing, or satisfying his artist needs, he's had enough, and decides to carefully select a subject. A subject who so happens to walk right by his house and who, he ends up bumping into, quite literally.

On the night of their first encounter, Gerard asks Frank if he has permission to paint him. A small breakdown leading to another, and pasts being spilled like it was nothing. Gerard is debating whether or not to let his secret be heard by the guitarist, who's summer is about to get a little more bloody than expected. A small realisation dawns upon Gerard; Frank Iero makes him feel alive again.
