The Singer's City

We walked into the lobby like a chilling procession. The boys were muttering something to each other, but i couldn't hear anything outside my own thoughts. Who are they? I thought numbly. I didn't have any family, nor did I have any friends close enough to want to adopt my sorry ass.
I blinked at the bright light that always occupied the lobby. When I could see again, I saw a dude about 15 years old. He sat on the arm of an easy chair, smirking at the little kids. He had heavy eye liner and spiked up black hair. He had something very scary about himself, with his fierce eyes and thin but muscular figure. When he saw me, he sneered and jumped down from the chair. I shooed the little kids behind me as he neared me.
I looked up at him as he got uncomfortably near me. I was two inches taller than him, but the my memories with him numbed any advantages that might have brought. His grey eyes met mine, flickering to my lips, then back. "Epril."
"J.O.S."
"I see you remember me."
I didn't answer. His eyes narrowed and he grit his teeth.
"Answer me when I ask you something."
"I'm not a child anymore, J. I choose what I do," I hissed. His eyes darkened. I knew he didn't believe me.
So I decided to let his balls meet my knee.
He inhaled sharply and stumbled back, eventually dropping on the ground. Some giggles broke out from behind me, and someone cheered. I turned around and bowed. I could literally feel JOS's hate coming at me. I turned back to him.
"Acciai said 'they.' So i expect you brought the whole suburbia. Go back to where you came from, Jesus." Mr. Jesus Of Suburbia pulled himself using a chair. His eyes glowed with hate, and he was foaming at the mouth. His muscles shifted dangerously beneath his tattoos. However, he was leaving.
But not before mouthing the words only I saw.
"Everyone will see how i see you: dead."
I turned and walked away before he did, leaving the boys and kids to watch him.
