"Oww" Mikey moaned
Gerard turned to face his brother, major mistake. Ray jumped onto Gerard's back and tackled him to the ground, knocking the gun away from Gerard, Ray started pounding Gerard as much as he could, I elbowed Mikey in the stomach and swipped my leg at his legs and he fell over with some awkward knees. He stayed on the ground as I ran over to Ray
"Grab. The. Mother.Fucking.Gun" He panted as he and Gerard kept rolling around on the ground fighting
I nodded and picked it up I cocked it and ran back to Ray
"Shoot him!" Ray screamed as he pinned Gerard to the ground
Gerard pushed Ray off and stood in front of me
"Yeah Zee, go ahead shoot me. What's stopping you?" Gerard smiled with blood coming out of his mouth
I pointed it at his forhead and started shaking, after several seconds of just standing there I put the gun to my side
"No, I'm not going to shoot you" I started "I'm not a heartless monster unlike you, Gerard"
I walked over to Ray and helped him up,
"Oh come on Zee! You know you want to shoot me! After what I did to Frank?"
"No, you want to die and if I help you in your crazy death plot, I'm just hurting the people who I'm trying to protect"
Ray went to the driver's side and started the car, I walked in after him and as soon as we got in the car it started to rain. Ray and I drove down the highway getting farther and farther from the crazy Gerard and his poker-face brother, I leaned my head on Ray's shoulder as we drove down the highway towards our wonderful home, you know I even missed Jordan and Megan. But only slightly. It took the entire night and the next day to get back to Michigan (Yes that is where I live), we drove directly back home not speaking and almost the entire ride just thinking about what had happened only a day ago
"So do you want to come over to my house?" Ray asked
"Ray, I think my parents need to know I'm still alive" I replied
"I guess" He sighed
"I'll come over tommorrow though"
"You promise?"
"I cross my heart and hope to die"
Soon we pulled up to my house and Ray stopped the car
"Want me to walk you in?"
"No, I'm good"
Before I left the car I pecked Ray on the cheek and walked over to my front door, I heard a movie from inside and I knocked on the door
"Hello?" asked my mom
"Hi mom"
She looked at me and hugged me harder than ever, she called over dad and I was bombarded in hugs and "I missed you" or "Are you okay?"
Yep, I was home
