Well This Sure Ain't Funny

It ain't fun watching my own funeral.

Everyone is crying.

I'm crying.

Then I heard someone familiar but someone I couldn't recognize, his voice was hazy,
"I'm sorry for your loss Mrs. Iero," I just couldn't figure it out, he didn't look that familiar either.
"Excuse me, but who are you? Frank's friend?" thanks mom, I smiled first time since knowing I was dead.

"No... I was the one who... found him." he looked embarrassed and nervous which was kind of cute.

My daydreaming was cut off by a name, GERARD.

"Oh... thank you..."
"Gerard" I answered to my mother the same time as Gerard did.

I walked next to Gerard and as he was still talking to my mom and I was following him the whole ceremony. I wanted to thank him, but how?

When the funeral ended I followed him to his car, and got to his back seat, hey I'm not a stalker, I just want to thank him, and I can't now because I don't know how, and I kind of don't want to lose him.

"Gerard..." I didn't even notice what I had just said, but Gerard for sure noticed me.

He was staring at me from the mirror,
"Wha-... Frank Iero. It can't be... you're dead! No I must be going insane. Nonono..." Gerard seemed to lose it pretty fast, dammit, what do I do?

"Ger-... Gee... please calm down, and I'll explain everything I know to you." I started to sweat and my stomach was twisting again because hey, I was in a car trying to explain that I'm half dead, to a really hot guy who tried to save my life.

"Yeah... this must be caused by the stress... yeah that's it." Gerard was losing himself and I started to think, maybe this wasn't that good idea.

"GERARD! CALM THE FUCK DOWN! Let me explain this to you." Gerard stopped and was now just staring at me intensely through the mirror, I saw him lightly nodding to me, and at first I didn't understand the situation as usually.

"I'm not really that sure either, but... here's what I think is happening, yes I died, and yes my corpse is rotting six feet under ground right now but, I think that I'm still here, because of my unsettled business... with the man who... stabbed me. So, I think I'm a spirit who is after it's murderer." after that I sighed and stared at my lap, waiting for Gerard to say something.

After a silence that felt like an eternity, Gerard actually spoke.

"And?" He turned around to look at me directly.

"And what?"

"Why are you in my car, and not after that man?" Gerard raised his eyebrows, but I swear I saw a small understanding smile on his face for a second.

"I uh... wanted to... thank you because you tried to help me..." I mumbled more to the floor than to Gerard.

"So thank you..."

"You're welcome, Frank." Gerard said, turning around again, that position didn't seem the most comfortable one.

"And... I w-wanted to ask some-thing..." I stuttered looking up, and I saw myself blushing from the mirror, which meant Gerard saw it too.
"Would you kindly help me with this thing because you're the only one so far who can actually see me..?" I blurted that all out way too fast, which made me drop my gaze back to the floor.

"You don't have to... you'd just make it alot more easier!" I said looking back up again, to see him looking directly at me again, with a warm smile.
"I... I don't know what I can do, but if it'll help you put your soul to rest, then I'll help." Gerard smiled widely, and he looked pretty damn cute like that.
"Th-thank you!" I grinned from ear to ear, for his response.

Now we can be kind of like friends, like he promised me when we met.

I'm not sure if I can upload tomorrow because I didn't have time to write today and I don't have much time tomorrow either...
